Bought a used car here in August of 2023. Experience was very confusing and things that were promised during the sales process ended up being changed for various reasons. The KBB of my car that I used for trade in was $11,000 and they gave me $2500 and claimed it would have to be "sold at auction" when there were no issues with the car. All in paid over $10k more than the original sticker price and was promised all these perks with the dealership that I have yet to see. The WORST part of my experience with McGrath Lexus of Westmont comes from my experience with the Service team yesterday. Booked an appointment for 4:00 PM and when I showed up 10 minutes early I was told they didn't have anything in the system for me. I pulled up my reservation and the tech said he'd be back shortly. After 10 minutes he said that the person helping me, Ben Zuniga, was in a meeting and would come get me in 5-10 minutes from the lobby. After waiting until 4:35 for a 4:00 appointment and not having anyone contact me, I walked up to customer service who proceeded to call Ben through the building's P.A system. He casually walks over as if this wasnt the 3rd time someone said they would get him for me and then proceeds to talk to me as if he knew nothing about my appointment. Never acknowledged the fact that it is now 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. When signing up for the appt I entered in all the details of my car including my VIN but when Ben finally went to help me he had to enter in all the info as if he never had it. After another 10 minutes of sitting in silence while he types on his computer and ignores calls, he proceeds to tell me that the oil change needed would be over $120. I was told when I got the car all oil changes would be free but he tells me since it's a used car that they would not be able to honor that. Had little to no customer service and did not once apologize for the 45 minute wait or offer any solutions. All in all a terrible experience and am really sorry I bought my car from McGrath Lexus of Westmont. Will avoid going back here because the customer service was horrible and not friendly. Would not recommend to any of my friends or network. More
