I have been a Lexus owner for 12 years. I bought my first Lexus, ES300, for 1996, from McGrath in 1999. Mr. Mel Owens answered my questions on-line and kept in touch with me via emails and sending links to keep me informed. I chose my car from the web site and was advised by Mr. Owens, to come out and test drive. My son, Aaron (he is a Lexus owner, also) accompanied me on the trip and the drive there was made pleasurable by the scenery encountered. The moment we entered the showroom and was greeted and made comfortable by the receptionist, it felt like coming home. Aaron and I were perusing the cars when a salesman asked if we were being helped. We informed him of whom we were waiting for and the salesman was Mr. Mel Owens! After hugging and shaking hands our journey to view the car of my choice was underway. Mr. Owens was a gentleman and the quality of his salesmanship was evident in all that he did for us. He obtained the plate, had the car brought to us, and acquainted me with the driving technology that was present in the 2009 IS250. Driving the car provided me all of the reasons to own it! This is why I came and now the actual purchase process had begun. Mr. Owens exercised great care in obtaining the necessary information needed to make the purchase. Because the process was lengthy, he took us to the cafeteria and advised the waitress to serve us lunch and put it on his tab! How incredible! All during the purchasing process, Mr. Owens made sure we were comfortable and kept us informed of the next steps. In the end, I was able to drive away from McGrath Lexus in the red, 2009, IS250 that I came to test drive! Mr. Owens introduced me to Mr. Kraig Dykman, who fully instructed me in the new driving technology and mechanisms of the car. And Mr. Dykman took pictures of me and the car and emailed them to me for sharing with family and friends!
