This dealership was recommended to me by a friend when I was selling my truck. The initial process seemed great. I went in and sold the car, gave them all the information they asked for. Since I was still paying off my truck, I was told McGrath Lexus would pay off my loan and then my bank would send me the difference that was overpaid ( about $9,000). This happened 5/9/2023 I was told it would take a few weeks for me to get my check, nothing came so I called my bank to check when my check was being sent to me. I received a notice that my load was paid off, so I was not to worried that there were any issues. The bank tells me that the loan was indeed paid off but I should be getting a check for the difference sent to me by McGrath Lexus. I called McGrath and I was told that somehow, they lost my contact information and could not get a hold of me, how do you lose my contact information? Then the sales manager (Justin) tells me he did try to get a hold of me last week, I continued to ask how did you try to get a hold of me I do not have any missed calls, and you just said my information was lost. He brushed off my question and asked me to resend a copy of my license since they missed placed that and that was needed to release my check. I was told that now that they have my proper information ( again), they will send out a check to me, not once did they apologize for the losing my personal information or offer an explanation as to how any of that sensitive information is lost. I would not recommend this location at all. UPDATE- I had asked Justin to call me once my check was sent to me on 6/2 no call was made to me, I followed up with the finance team left 4 voicemails, no one called me back. Since no one returned my calls, we drove to the location (over and hour). I spoke with a sales manager Elvin. He stated the finance team left at 4pm there was no way to check if my check was sent out. So he called the other sales manager Justin, Justin assured him my check was sent out Friday 6/2. Elvin said he would investigate this issue even though he was going on vacation and get back to me, I did not hear back so I called the dealership around 6pm. I finally connected with someone that informed me that my check was never sent to me it would be sent out tomorrow 6/9. So, both Justin and Elvin lied to me, why not tell me if there was an issue, tell me what is going on instead of giving me the runaround. I'm a very understanding person if you tell me that there was a mistake but you're going to fix it that is all I need to hear. But consistently lying after my personal/sensitive information is lost is unacceptable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION- WHAT A JOKE More
Bought a Nx suv less then a year It needed front brakes …already? It was certified warranty and still current … i paid a boat load for this car & they gaggled over paying $670 to fix the safety issue tha …already? It was certified warranty and still current … i paid a boat load for this car & they gaggled over paying $670 to fix the safety issue that should have been replaced before i bought it …This westmont lexus as rich as it is gaggled over taking care of this safety issue and would not absorb $670… wow… this is why people hate car dealers…. Money hungry … even a pandemic haven’t made them care …poor customer service in covering a safety Issue. Horrible & dishonest Alvin, Justin and GM Jimmy Chang they just pass the buck … stay away from these money hungry people they have no compassion for absorbing cost for a safety issue …they want your money but are heartless in giving anything back.It’s all about gouging you for their profits!
