I went into McGrath to Lease a car. Knowing Kraig Dykman, he referred me to Alisa. I met with Alisa, told her what I was looking for and was able to locate the exact car I wanted immediately. We went over the simply lease details and she said she would call me when it comes in and get it ready. Kraig even shared video of the car coming in and being prepared to take on it's first driver. I showed up that afternoon with my son Gavin and Kraig had some pizza ready for us. After a few slices of some great Chicago Pizza Kraig and Alisa showed us around the dealership I signed my name 25 times and Kraig paired up my phone to the bluetooth and personalized all of my settings for me. He's a great person to demonstrate automobile technology because he shares the some passion for innovation and engineering so I do. Alisa walked me through the whole acquisition process and came highly recommended. I always felt that she was working for me. Coming from an ex-automobile sale professional myself I appreciated her dedicated approach to a focused and pleasant car leasing experience. I was in an accident over the summer and unsure about whether I wanted to fix my car or purchase a new vehicle. After test driving several cars, I feel in love with the Lexus RX 330/350 model and there whether I wanted to fix my car or purchase a new vehicle. I went to Lexus of Naperville being close to my home, and found the saleman to be very rude and almost sarcastic. He spoke to me as if I was a stupid young girl who had not done her research on cars. Yet I'm 30 and have never had a car payment and spent hours researching if I was going to consider having a car payment for the first time! He had me test drive a Lexus that made an incredibly loud sound once I left the parking lot. I believe there was something wrong with the breaks, but when I returned to the lot and reported the problem, he brushed it off as if nothing was wrong and said I was just being too "sensitive". After this experience, I had a bad taste in my mouth about Lexus in general. Then I made the trip out to McGrath Lexus. I found a model on-line that looked really great and called ahead of time to make sure it was available still. Joe Scala, my salemen, had the car ready for me when I got there...in beautiful condition too. He was very considerate and treated me like a young adult, and spent time explaining all of the positive aspects of owning a Lexus. He worked with me on the price of the car, which I felt was very fair. I also believe if there was a problem with the vehicle that he knew of, he probably would have steered me away from the car and to another one. I have had no problems so far, and believe McGrath works hard to keep their positive reputation and therefore would not sell a car they knew had issues. If I could go back I may have worked a little harder to have the navigation updated, but overall I LOVE the car and appreciated Joe for his assistance! The finance guy, Mike, was also very informative and not pushy. He simply provided the facts and let me make my decision regarding purchasing a warranty or not. In the future, I will be going back to McGrath when I'm looking to upgrade my vehicle. More
