As far as salesmanship and customer service, Austin was great. He was upfront and honest and in turn sent me pictures of the car and it's condition (with a scratch) before my wife took the train from St. L great. Picking her up from the train stating was an added plus as well. The issue was at closing and the lack of communication. We submitted a cashiers check in the amount of $17,000 and were going to place the balance on AX only to find out this was unacceptable. It was stated to my wife by Brian in financing this was explained to me before hand in our prior conversation. This was not the case at all, in fact he was happy to take my credit card information to place a hold on the card and based on that procedure we felt we could charge the remaining $700+ on the card. Luckily my wife happen to have a check with her and now we are having to make adjustments to cover the situation. I did speak with a couple of people but do not feel anyone really cares after the sale. More

I was traveling to Chicago to see my sister and researched the inventory and dealer locations in the area. I called a dealership in Naperville and scheduled an appointment to drive a black SUV. The appointment was a horrible experience. The salesman was immediately dissmissing and rude. I don't know if it was because I was a woman or he didn't believe I was a serious buyer or both. When I inquired about any possible wiggle room on the price, he rather curtly and with a smirk replied, " there isn't any. These cars sell for list price. And when I asked him to see what I might be offered for my vehicle he said "why bother if you don't plan on buying this car today?" I cut the conversation short and left the dealership. The next day I contacted the Megrath dealership in Chicago. The experience couldn't have been more different than what I encountered in Napperville. Jack was friendly and professional on the phone and greeted me with a warm genuous smile and a firm handshake upon my arrival the next day. He showed me a car that was the color I wanted with all the features I said I wanted. I was sold!! We negoiated a great deal which both the dealership and I were happy. Jack and every other person I encountered during the buying process made the experience a total pleasure. I left that day a happy and satisified customer. My sister was so impressed she has decided to trade her car for an RX350 as well. My only regret is that I won't be able to give my servicing business to Megrath....but I might stop in for that free car wash when visiting my sister. More

I was looking for a new car and Julie Hill was my salesperson. She was really friendly and helpful, but my initial visit took forever. I felt like she was knowledgeable and friendly, but she easily got distracted answering her other customer's questions and not focusing on me, who was physically in front of her desk. After purchasing the car, Julie remains to be very helpful and is great with following up. McGrath Chicago as a whole gives great customer service. Thank you! More
