A good friend and long time Lexus owner insisted I visit his "friends" at McGrath Lexus in Chicago, when it unexpectedly became necessary for me to quickly purchase a pre-owned vehicle. With a somewhat preconceived notion of what the Lexus brand was, I agreed to his proposition. My experience began with General Sales Manager Sharon Gale. I'll remind you that being a first-timer at Lexus, I was feeling a bit apprehensive with all the pomp and circumstance surrounding the car maker's reputation and legacy. (Yes, I'm one of those people who find car buying a stressful and often times intimidating prospect). To my relief and pleasure, all of my anxiety vanished after five minutes in Sharon's company. She was sincere and authentic. She not only knew her business, she loved it! As a business owner, I recognized and connected with her immediate enthusiasm and straightforward accessibility. She wanted nothing more than to assure me I was in the best of hands at Lexus! My car-quest was then turned over to capable hands of the Pre-owned Vehicle Salesman Bill Tacker. His 14 years at Lexus afforded me a professional level of knowledge and expertise that was tempered by his friendly, accommodating demeanor. Again, as we perused the pre-owned, he was able to give a clear understanding of the Lexus brand, it's dependability, features and standing in the marketplace. Car salesman stereotypes aside, there was no pressure here. Rather a simple desire for him to reassure me that Lexus was a very good choice. It wasn't long before I'd picked out my next car! I'm not one who is impressed with perks and privileges. Again, as a business owner, I am impressed with customer rapport and confidence in a product. To me those are key elements in attracting and maintaining a loyal, consumer relationship. I can safely say that experts at McGrath Lexus have done exactly that! More

Julie was by far and away the best car sales person I have ever dealt with since I purchased my very first vehicle! She went out of her way to help me out in every way possible! Her demeanor was positive and cheerful and one thing that I hold above all else when it comes to the character of any individual I am dealing with is Honesty! A surprise I was not expecting My boyfriend and I drove up to McGrath Lexus to look at a used Lexus that he was thinking about purchasing. We weren't totally sold and weren't sure if we were going to actually get it or not. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by Jack Martell who made us feel right at home, he was helping out his friend/coworker Bill Shamuh who was busy with another client and was originally supposed to help us purchase our new car. There was a reason Jack was our "guy" he was very patient I never felt obligated or pushed into anything which is what usually happens at most dealerships, but NOT THIS ONE. Jack accommodated us, made us feel like a friend, and very comfortable with our decision, he exceeded our expectations! After taking the car for a test drive it wasn't a tough choice on whether or not we wanted the car. This place was awesome! More

New Lexus ES350 purchase I used the True Car program to search out a dealership to work with. Within minutes after submitting my car requirements I was contacted by Bryant Va I used the True Car program to search out a dealership to work with. Within minutes after submitting my car requirements I was contacted by Bryant Vasquez, who had some initial questions for me regarding my inquiry. Afterwards again within 20-30 minutes at most, Rick Farbo contacted me and verifed the details of my inquiry. Rick was off the next day, however, he gave me his cell phone number should I have any questions. After a follow up call by Rick I came in that day and he introduced me to Shawn Friedman, who couldn't have been more helpful,in explaining car options, features and availablity. I gave Shawn a deposit to get the search going and to bring the car into the Chicago showroom. Before I arrived home Shawn said he found a similar car which would work and at a price which would work as well. My wife and I arrived on Friday to pickup the car and meet with Shawn, who introduced us to Frank Cowan. Frank who was very thorough and helpful in answering questions my wife and I had. We then met with Violet Vrsek who gave us a very upbeat and thorough demonstration of many of the cars features. Violets patience was was much appreciated as we had quite a bit of difficulty getting my Dinosaur flip phone to work with the cars bluetooth feature.. Our son is coming over early next week to see if we can get the phone and Garage door opener to work thru the car. My wifes phone works well. as set up by Violet. Having managed a saleforce in my work career I appreciate professionalism, thoroughness provided thru exemplary teamwork.when I see it. I saw it in SPADES at McGrath Chicago.! More

Believe me, many times David Kay and Doug Bell had to explain things two, three, four times!! However,everyone at the dealership was very courteous and genuinely friendly - they never hesitated to draw diagrams or write out prices so that my mom and I walked out truly understanding everything. Rick Guzman was brought in to help translate for my mom. We never felt like we were getting duped into a program. My mom and I loved our experience at the Lexus dealership from the water bottles (seriously, my mom loved those water bottles!) to the very skilled Nick Novelli who helped me sink my bluetooth to the car and walked me through all the bells and whistles of my car. Extraordinary Experience I had never been to McGrath Lexus before Saturday, 6-14-14. I was so impressed with everyone I dealt with. It began with Jack Martell who greeted me a I had never been to McGrath Lexus before Saturday, 6-14-14. I was so impressed with everyone I dealt with. It began with Jack Martell who greeted me as if I were a longtime family member. I am in no way a "car guy" and after talking with Jack for only a few minutes I knew I had lucked out in dealing with someone who must know more about cars, their qualities, their reliability, and capabilities than anyone I ever met. I drove from Wisconsin to the dealership with the intent of looking at a few cars, and then return to Wisconsin to consider whether or not I would make an offer. I did return to Wisconsin later that afternoon, but it was in an LS460 with only 24,000 miles. Thank you Jack, but also to Steve who transferred all my junk from the Lexus I traded in, and to Nick who gave me a personal review of the multitude of features that my new car can provide to me. His personal time spent with me was absolutely the frosting on the cake. I know I will accept his offer to call him in the future if I have any questions. One last note to Jack, who persuaded me to take my new car on Saurday(which I didn't want to do); when I got home I was locked out of my house , as I did not carry a remote in my old car, and therefore could not open my garage door.
