I was looking to purchase a used car and found another similar vehicle that was located out of state. Before coming in to this dealership, I was told on the phone they would meet me in the middle on prici similar vehicle that was located out of state. Before coming in to this dealership, I was told on the phone they would meet me in the middle on pricing since that car had more miles. Upon going to the dealership and test driving the car, I was basically offered the original price of the car. I told the guy that's not what we discussed and he went on to belittle me that I should know better and that this car was fully loaded (even though other car had same options) and that he needed to make some money on the car. I even offered to pay a little more than the middle price and was told no. Please be careful before going to this dealership as it seems the sales associates will lie just to get you in the door. I expected more especially from a Lexus dealership where they supposedly pride themselves on customer service. More
We agreed on a purchase price for a car, but when I called back that same day I was told it was sold and asked them to call me if the deal does not go through. A week later I see the car is till for sa called back that same day I was told it was sold and asked them to call me if the deal does not go through. A week later I see the car is till for sale. I call the dealer and talk to the used car sales Manager Ben Mutz. I told him I wanted to purchase the car, but Ben Mutz says the car is now $2,500 more than we agreed upon. Ben Mutz proceeds states “I do not know what line of business you are in, but we can raise our prices anytime”. Essentially Mr. Mutz has no integrity and will not honor an agreed upon price. I call the General Manager Jimmy Tran and left numerous messages for him to call me. This incident occurred over 30 days ago and Jimmy Tran has not bothered to call me back. I have bought many cars and this is the worst experience I have ever had. Integrity at McGrath Lexus is not demonstrated or valued from the top down. Buy your car elsewhere!!!! More
