He took videos of the vehicle showing the specific features and the condition. He had the vehicle cleaned and sent us a picture update as we were on the way. Very disappointed. Expected more professionalism from a high-end dealership like Lexus. Sales process went ok, but a minor problem afterward with servicing went totally nuts over something that cost the d high-end dealership like Lexus. Raised to sales manager Heather, and it was disastrous from there. I don't know how that person is even employed at Lexus. Nasty, nasty, nasty!! Tried contacting the general manager for the dealership, but he couldn't be bothered to return a simple, professionally written e-mail. Ready for my next vehicle, but will steer WAY clear of this dealership because of HER and this dealership's non-caring attitude once you write the check. More
I wanted to sell my 2010 Lexus RX350 and responded to an email from McGrath Lexus offering a price based upon my submission of information online. I made an appointment and brought the car in for inspectio email from McGrath Lexus offering a price based upon my submission of information online. I made an appointment and brought the car in for inspection and was told they would honor the offer. I told them I would bring the car in a week later to complete the transaction. I made an appointment with Ben Muth, the used car sales manager. Things started heading downhill when he kept me waiting for.40 minutes, without apology. After filling out and signing some forms, I was asked to sign over the title. At that point, I asked how long it would take for them to type up and give me my check. Mr Muth said 7-10 days. I said: “OK. I will hold the title and exchange it for the check. Mr Muth said we don’t do business that way; I was to leave the signed documents with McGrath and wait for the check. I asked him to give me a signed letter acknowledging receiving the signed documents and committing to get me the check as agreed. Muth replied that they did not do business that way, and that they were “MCGRATH”, so I should rely on his word. Obviously, they were optimistic that they could resell the car for a profit within a week and make money without ever being out of pocket. Obviously, I took my keys and title and walked out, not willing to be taken advantage of by their unethical business practices More
