The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

A horrible service center with rude employees and management that would rather make excuses than fix problems. They have no respect for their customer's time or vehicles. Not only would I never bring one of my cars back here, I don't think anyone that wants anything close to a professional service should use their services. I can't speak to their sales, but their service is so horrible I would be cautious about purchasing a car that is dependant on their service center. More
