I am absolutely thrilled to provide an update on my recent experiences with Pat McGrath car dealerships. Having been a loyal customer who has purchased not one, not two, but three cars from their dealership, I felt compelled to share my recent journey, which, though initially challenging, turned into a truly exceptional experience. Once my concerns were brought to their attention, they went above and beyond to completely rectify the situation, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction. Pat McGrath's team acted swiftly and decisively to address my concerns. The dealership's management, including the general manager, Mark Updegraff, and the used vehicle sales director, Mason Schultz, were both amazing and took my feedback very seriously. They immediately offered to fix things. This gesture demonstrated their commitment to making things right and ensuring my satisfaction. They recognized the importance of providing me with a vehicle that suits my needs as a disabled Army veteran. They have not only addressed the issues I encountered, but have also taken steps to ensure that such situations are less likely to occur in the future. While my recent experience initially left me disappointed, it's their swift and effective response that has ultimately and completely restored my faith in their dealership. Thank you, Pat McGrath dealerships, for making things right! Your efforts have turned a challenging situation into a very positive experience. I look forward to continuing my relationship with your dealership in the future. More
Terrible experience trying to purchase a new vehicle. Was given a different payment amount each time we talked about numbers even after I started signing paper work. When we got to the loan contract page Was given a different payment amount each time we talked about numbers even after I started signing paper work. When we got to the loan contract page, the amount per month listed on the paper was nearly $100 more than what they told me I would be paying. They they told me that their system can only print fixed rate values but that I would have a lower payment for 3 years that I would see on my first statement. Then the payment would jump significantly. This was after I made the down payment and started transferring the insurance. I told them that I never agreed to anything other than a fixed rate loan and that a flex term was never even mentioned by the sales team. I promptly refused to sign the loan contract and walked out. I will say that the person who was going over the paperwork with me, I don’t remember his name, answered every question honestly and didn’t hesitate to try and help. The issue was the complete dishonesty of the people on the sales floor that I worked with. This was the Ford section. More

I would definitely not recommend McGrath Hyundai/KIA to anyone. My wife’s Tucson was consuming a concerning amount of oil (about a quart every 30 miles) so I brought it to their service department as it needed an ABS recall anyway. After I dropped it off I asked them to check to turbo charger maybe for a blown oil seal or the PCV valve etc. I had changed the spark plugs only a few weeks before and all four plug electrodes were consistently coated in some tan colored milky substance which I could assume was leftover additives from the engine oil that’s being burned. This assured me it had to be something intake related. McGrath offered me a $700 option to put a stop-leak substance in the engine to “slow down” the oil consumption, which I declined and insisted they just look at different things with the engine and try to find a problem. Later in the afternoon they call me and say my wife’s car is all done and that they didn’t find anything wrong. Upon asking they basically did nothing and I was told that they [as a certified Hyundai dealer] don’t do invasive engine inspections. This has me baffled, they absolutely refuse, passively, to handle any service customers who’s vehicle doesn’t have a straight forward problem. I also went in looking at new vehicles and I was pre-approved for a nice amount through my personal bank and had a cashier’s check IN HAND. I expressed interest in a particular SUV and wanted to talk numbers with a salesman. Upon telling him that I was pre-approved for a loan and had a check from the bank, he informed me that I only qualified for one specific vehicle in their stock, which was a low trim package and told me that if I was interested in any other car that I would have to get approved with their lenders. I walked out. In summary, McGrath Hyundai/KIA is a shady operation that only cares about making as much money as possible. I would NOT recommend ANY of the McGrath dealerships to anyone! If you need service, go to a smaller shop as they’re cheaper and way more honest. If you need sales, go to ANY other dealership! More

Riley and a manager Cameron (?) were great to deal with and very responsive texting back and forth with me when we decided not to take the Bronco that was in stock. I came by myself and was treated very respectfully and was not given the "where's your husband little lady?" schpeel. I bought my dodge many years ago from their sister dealership and it was for the same reason. More
My wife and I were in Hiawatha to pick up our travel trailer. While there our Ford F150 started leaking coolant. McGrath being only blocks away made this place a no brainer to have it serviced there. As trailer. While there our Ford F150 started leaking coolant. McGrath being only blocks away made this place a no brainer to have it serviced there. As it was late in the day Brett from service informed us they would get at it first thing in the morning. Long story short we were shuttled to a car rental by McGrath and secured a vehicle to travel back back to the Quad Cities. The repairs were made and Brett made sure all issues were addressed. I would recommend McGrath Ford anyday. More

I have managed sales team and let me tell you this guy checks all the boxes that I look for in a sales agent. It was a great experience for sure. Give him a call he will be ready to help. He listens and is a problem solver. Thats just what I needed. Thanks, Simeon. More
