Read up on the model & year, watched cars on line, shopped independents & dealers until we were ready. Took an auction car from a small lot in for a dealer inspect, revealing substantial undisclosed problems -- time to start working with reputable outlets!!! (especially with a used car,) Omar Aziz at E.S. responded rapidly & consistently to e-mails, allowed us ample time to look over & test drive this car and worked with us to arrange either a private or dealer inspection. From the prior bad experience, we had specific questions both on the sales & shop side and both were handled well. Given how busy the service side is, we went with the dealer inspection. The mechanic patiently answered concerns &, when asked, did offer a general opinion. Mr. Aziz was patient and calm both in the shopping & exceptionally so in the document gathering of the purchase process, especially as the end buyer was not present and required multiple phone calls & messages over a 45 minute period of time. The business manager did ask us to sign the carfax report which was rapidly provided n/c by Mr. Aziz at first inquiry. However, used car buyers must take the responsibility of getting a reliable inspection and listening well. I appreciate Omar Aziz' easing the process. More

Drove almost 3 hours for them to pull a bait & switch. Claimed I was denied for a loan. I called my that I instructed them to go through and they advised me that they never even submitted anything. Didn't find this out until the next day. Come to find out they tried to sell the car to someone else for a higher price. Wasted 6 hours on the road and a useless hit on my credit score. No apologies or anything. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! More

The Forester is perfect for the Social Security set. It's easy to get in and out. We get all the latest technology for a reasonable price, along with caring staff who help either set up our connections It's easy to get in and out. We get all the latest technology for a reasonable price, along with caring staff who help either set up our connections to the cell phone or help us learn how to operate all the valued tech. The car is also so very reliable and easy to operate. Parking is easy and my visibility in the car is great too. Evanston Subaru has a great service department, and I enjoy the Hot Chocolate in the comfortable waiting room. I'd linger longer if they weren't so efficient in taking care of my occasional problem. They don't come deliver me a battery or fix my tire on the road, but their 800 Emergency Service number is great. From a jump to a tow, they were prompt, professional and courteous. I've had a wide range of cars over the years, from Cadillac & Lincoln to Mercury, Chevy, Honda and Nissan. For my stage of life, I think I have the perfect car, and I'm working with the best people too. More

I walked in Evanston Subaru and no one approached me to ask if I needed any help! I was in the market for 2 new Impreza's. I walked up to the front desk and asked for help and to my surprise the guy calle ask if I needed any help! I was in the market for 2 new Impreza's. I thought he was a customer because this guy was sitting there the whole time I was walking around not only the show room but the whole front and back lot also. Anyways he then approached me after the guy from the front desk called out to him. He said can I help you. I explained that I was is the market for a new Impreza and would like to take a test drive. After taking the Impreza for a drive I asked if he could make a deal? He said I can take $250 off MRSP. I said what could you do on two Impreza's? He replied I can take $500 off MRSP on each? Never going to his manager and asking if they could make a deal just telling me they don't make any money on vehicles? I was thinking to my self how do you pay for the light bill or for the commercials then? Don't get me wrong I don't like the salesmen that flock to you like pigeons when you have a slice of bread! But customer service is not priority here. I did end up buying 2 new Impreza's but not here! More

Very Pleased! I needed an oil change and also had several problems. After giving my list of problems I was assured that everything would be taken care of. I received a rental car while mine was being repaired. When I picked up my car I was told that all problems were taken care of. And they were! I must say the mechanics did a great job. It is a wonderful feeling to drive my Subaru without having to worry as to whether or not I will be able to remove my key after I turn off the engine (my main problem!). Also the tailgate no longer makes noise and the navigation system is working well. Of course the oil was changed and everything was checked over. Evanston Subaru did great by me! More

Still out of alignment with one slow leak My wife went in for a tire indicator, which we found to have two slow leaking tires. They stated they found a screw in one and couldn't find a leak i My wife went in for a tire indicator, which we found to have two slow leaking tires. They stated they found a screw in one and couldn't find a leak in the other. She asked if they cleaned the rim of the one they found with no issue. She said he didn't respond. He also stated uneven wear. After being there for roughly an hour and half, they said she was done. Our 2015 still pulls to the right the they unfixed tire remains to have a slow leak. Luckily we have an air compressor 10 feet away from this tire. More
