Igor was very friendly and took the time to help me; even search out what vehicle I wanted. The Highlander that I bought wasn't at the dealership but they picked one up, I looked it over, I loved it, and I bought it. I done a lot of business with many dealerships and I give Elmhurst Toyota a perfect score. They were not pushy, I wasn't stalked, I didn't feel like I was swamped, Igor didn't even act like I was wasting his time like many salesmen seem to act like with their face expressions. He will treat you like a person not a dollar sign. Terry and Casey in the Service Department was great with the extra's and refinements of my Highlander. Everyone was friendly including the Parts Department who took an hour of their time searching out prices for me with stuff I wanted to add. What a great place to do business. Also my Parents and Brother bought from them in 2005 and 2007 and all there services was done great and had no complaints. So I would say that their service there for oil changes and repairs are really good. Thanks Brian More
I bought my 2008 Scion XB in 09/2007, and I have a great experienced buying this car with the help of John (The Scion King). But I don't like the auto service at this dealership which I'm giving them a rating of 1/2 @ the scale 1-5. I have my XB serviced at this dealership for 3 to 4 times then stop coming back and went instead to Scaumburg Toyota which for now has a ok service???. I am shopping for a new car again but I dont have the vibes anymore to go back to this dealership because of the bad service that I experienced at Elmhurst service dept. More

Steve Salidas was absolutely great. He was not pushy or just trying to "make a sale." He was honest, friendly, and easy to work with. I got a great deal and won't hesitate to come back! I asked Steve to explain leasing to me and he did a very good job of convincing me that that was the way I wanted to go. He took me to look at cars; I test drove a Matrix and was sold. Steve ran the number good job of convincing me that that was the way I wanted to go. He took me to look at cars; I test drove a Matrix and was sold. Steve ran the numbers for me which sealed the deal. He was able to come up with a monthly payment that fit into my budget. The next day I brought my husband in and Steve showed him the Matrix; let him look under the hood and offered him a test drive. We then purchased the Matrix. All in all, the experience restored my faith in Toyota (I'm a loyal 18 year Toyota customer). More
Steven was excellent throughout the process of buying this new car, especially considering the fact that we ordered the vehicle precisely during the recall situation. Though the vehicle took longer than this new car, especially considering the fact that we ordered the vehicle precisely during the recall situation. Though the vehicle took longer than originally projected to receive because of unforeseen delays due to manufacturing in Japan, we were kept informed of the process throughout. Steven was professional and kind and worked hard to make an agreement with us that was, without question, the best we were able to find anywhere. Steven was respectful and never pressured us into any decisions. I would visit this dealership again and will recommend it to. More
My wife and I have purchased 2 (two) new cars from Elmhurst Toyota. A 2010 Toyota Rav before the major recalls, and a 2011 Toyota Sienne in March 2010. The Salesman, Steven Salidas, put all of our worries at rest with the intelligent explanations and answers to our concerns. We were all over the map test driving and getting quotes from Volkswagen, Honda, Ford, Chrysler, Buick and Crossover Cadillac. We went back to Elmhurst Toyota because Steve was committed to our needs. He was always a gentleman, patient, listened to our needs and concerns, and never pressured. He always accommodated all of our requests. Steve was not just trying to sell a vehicle, he wanted to make sure that we were happy with the car we purchased and that it would meet all of our needs. We feel we received an excellent deal on both Trade In Value and Sticker Price Discount. The purchase of a new car should be a happy and comfortable transaction. Steven Salidas and his team at Elmhurst Toyota did just that! Thank you! More

When one of those cars was recently totaled in an accident, we sought to replace it with a new or used Toyota that would be affordable. In the course of an entire month, I drove several vehicles and attempted to arrange financing. One of the cars I was seriously considering was in the massive recall; and was made unavailable for purchase until repairs could be made. I then tried to make a deal on another vehicle; but was asked to jump through many hoops regarding paper work and financing. The sales person never once followed up at each stage of this wrangling. He gave us the impression that he was not interested in selling us a car with our difficult financing issues. It got to the point I called to speak to the finance manager to see what the difficulties were. I was told he would get back to me; but he passed me off to the used car manager who also said he would get back to me, but never did. While the salesperson was friendly in our interactions in the showroom and in test drives, he clearly was not that excited about helping people who had financial issues.I was so pleased, and surprised when I finally got tired of this run-around and went to another Toyota dealer who was able to provide financing on a new 2010 Corolla in a matter of hours. I cannot understand a dealership that would treat a loyal customer in this fashion. We have always brought all three of our Toyotas to Elmhurst Toyota for all service needs. I guess my Customer Loyalty Card isn't worth the plastic it is printed on. You would think a struggling automaker with public relations issues would have bent over backward to help us finance one of their vehicles. Instead, I was trying to make a deal on a car that was my second choice because my first choice was recalled. Instead of trying to make a deal, I was quoted the same internet price that had been listed prior to the recall and Toyota's PR woes. I hope people will read this and consider driving just a few miles south and west of this dealership to one that clearly puts customers first. More
