Over the years we have purchased a total of 10 vehicles (9 Toyotas, 1 Scion) from Elmhurst Toyota. Our last two purchases have been through Rob Smithburg. In both cases the vehicles we were looking for had to be ordered or searched for (we were looking for a specific color/options). Rob called us several times to inform us on the progress and to let us know when they would be arriving at the dealership. If you are in the preliminary stages of making a purchase Rob has been great at getting us brochures with no pressure to make a decision "on the spot". I came here after an awful experience at Lombard Toyota; I was treated wonderfully. They were respectful, straight-up and honest with me-- not to mention Rob Smithburg gave me a better price on my 2010 Cor I was treated wonderfully. Their entire staff is extremely professional and they don't employ any of the greasy tactics that you hear about other dealerships (e.g. Lombard Toyota). Everything was laid out for me in black and white-- no gimmicks, no trickery, and no bait-and-switch garbage. After Toyota Financial originally denied me eligibility for their Recent College Graduate rebate, Elmhurst Toyota actually negotiated on my behalf with Toyota Financial to award me the rebate. I showed up to the dealership ready to pick up my car and ended up paying a thousand dollars less than I had planned on paying. Unbelievable. I was blown away-- Elmhurst Toyota was getting my money either way, and they still took it upon themselves to negotiate with Toyota Financial on my behalf. On the day that I notified Rob that I was ready to purchase the car, Elmhurst Toyota picked the car up from a different local dealer and had it ready for me to pick up that afternoon (cleaned, inside and out, with a full tank of gas). The gentleman in the finance department didn't try to sell me any extra garbage, making the whole process transparent and explaining every detail to me. I also had a remote start installed a few days after I purchased the car. The service department called me to arrange a drop-off time at my convenience; when I dropped off the car in the morning, I was given a loaner car for the duration of the installation. I am a very skeptical man with a great appreciation for businesses that are run well. Elmhurst Toyota impressed me with their professional treatment of me, the consumer, and their dedication to quality that is rare for any business, let alone a car dealership. More

The sales staff at Elmhurst Toyota are exceptional in sales and service. I purchased a toyota corolla 10 years ago at this same location and just traded it for a 2010(same model).
