I must admit I was not happy nor excited about buying from anywhere other than CarMax. In my mind, no haggle pricing was the only way to go! The thought of having to deal with the typical car salesman, sales manager or finance manager was almost too much. I basically walked into this dealership with my guard up ready for the worst. To my surprise, it was nothing like that at all. I can truly say that the buying process at Elmhurst Toyota was as simple as could be. No high-pressure sales tactics, or bullying tactics at all. Having purchased many new vehicles in my life, and not just from CarMax, I can honestly say that this was the easiest new car buying experience ever. Not only did I not have to fight and argue with anyone, I actually felt quite relaxed during the entire process. More importantly, I paid about $250 less than I would have for the exact same vehicle (same options) at CarMax. I got my new vehicle close to invoice, so it couldn't have worked out better. Steve and Mike were really great to work with, and I would recommend them to anyone I know that's in the market for a new vehicle. Just so this doesn't sound like this is a paid testimony, or a relative of the company, I do have one negative statement to make regarding the process. Watch out for the tall, bald finance guy. He was nice and pleasant until we declined his extended warranty! Then he couldn't care less about my business, and he was quite rude to my salesman right in front of me and my wife. Extremely unprofessional!! Again, outside of the ignorant finance guy, buy your Toyota from these guys. You'll like the experience! More
My wife and I were recently shopping around for a 2010 Toyota Highlander. We sent out requests for quotes to 7 different dealerships in the Chicago area. John Tinault from Elmhurst Toyota gave us the best quote (also very fair and competitive according to the research that we did on Kelly Bluebook, Edmunds.com and other various online automotive sources). He was able to give us the exact model we wanted with all the options we wanted. When we went in to purchase the vehicle, John stuck to his word and stood by the price he quoted us. We drove away with our new Highlander in under 2 hours from the time we stepped into the dealership. Everything went very smoothly and the transaction was very fast and efficient. There was no high pressure tactics to sell us additional add-ons or to alter anything that we had already agreed to. Quick, easy and simple. Our experience at Elmhurst Toyota with John Tinault was very pleasant and we would definitely come back here to buy another vehicle. Durring my 3 month oil change on my new 2011 Sienna. Tom Maulk in service was walking around my car and saw that my tire was defective and I could have had a blow out at any time. As soon as I walked into Elmhurst Toyota I was greeted by a few different friendly faces. I left and received a phone call later that night about another car I might be interested in. Eddie Acosta texted me a few days later to follow up with me, which I really appreciated. I showed up about a week later unannounced, took a test drive with a different salesperson (Max) and fell in love with the car. Max was also a joy to work with. I came back the next day to sign with Eddie or Max, and Eddie happened to be around. I negotiated on the price and didn't feel taken advantage of. About a week later, Eddie continues to follow up with me to ensure my satisfaction, which makes me feel good about who I purchased from. I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy my first car from Eddie Acosta at Elmhurst Toyota. I have faith that if I have any issues in the future, they will be just as accommodating to me as they were when they first saw me as a potential customer. More

Our sales person Mike Stefanik was very friendly and honest with us. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and did not pressure us. Once we decided on a car we wanted, Mike was helpful and made the dreaded negotiation process very painless. All said and done he we left with a great car at a great price.
