Hello and thank you for the candid feedback. I just wanted to apologize that your experience here at the dealership was such a debacle. We pride ourselves on our integrity and our customer service and to that end we try very hard to make sure every person that walks in our doors leaves happy. Obviously, despite our best efforts, we'll never be 100% successful. I had a chance to sit down and talk with Rob and Michael about this and I think I can see where some of the issues came about. Apparently Rob was expecting you and your wife to come in after he got here in the afternoon. Not that there's anything wrong with you coming in earlier, but it would explain why the car wasn't ready (cleaned up, filled with gas, etc.) when you got here. As far as any scratches and dents, I agree that those should have been taken care of before you got here. That was a dropped ball on our part, but even after that, we could have easily had our touch-up company take care of those imperfections while you were here at the dealership. In the end, we had them do the work the next day anyway. I know the bumper was a key factor for you and I'm not sure what was said about removing bumpers, but I know that due to the kind of wear and tear they get from being in a metro area, we do end up painting the majority of plastic bumpers on our pre-owned cars. That having been said, I completely understand why you're upset given the situation. All I can say is that I've worked with Michael for several years now and, although he and our customers don't always agree on everything, I've never heard him lie to one (which is rare in this industry). Once again, I'm sorry that things went so badly while you were here and I sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings on our part. Clearly, we could have done better. Once again, we appreciate your feedback, and if there's anything more I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.
