I had been car shopping for almost a month by the time I walked into Elmhurst Toyota. First thing my husband and I noticed was how nice the dealership itself was, compared to the many others we had been to walked into Elmhurst Toyota. We were immediately greated at the door and introduced to Larry Skelly. He was genuinely friendly and listened to everything we were looking for. We had brought our 3 year old with us to the dealership, not knowing how that would go, but we were all very pleasantly surprised to see the awesome play area they have set up inside for kids. It' was clean, safe and a perfect place to entertain a little one while car shopping. Once Larry had narrowed down the types of vehicles we did and did not want, he found me something perfect. It was exactly in my price range, it was safe, low milage, tons of space and fun to drive, everything I was looking for. He was even able to offer me all those things in the color that I had my heart set on. We took a really nice test drive around elmhurst and I was 100% comfortable with him. I can honestly say, after all the dealerships we had been to, Larry was the most helpful, the most knowledgable and just genuinely a good guy. Thanks to Larry's help and the great family friendly atmosphere inside the dealership, we left with our new car that day and I couldn't be happier. John Williams & Ingrid Rapa were great salespeople. Vladimir was very enjoyable to work with as well! He was there to make us comfortable with the price and talk through things; he wasn't defensive or harsh, just very understanding and honest. Also, once we had made the decision and were doing financing Mike took his time (although technically the dealership was closed already) and step-by-step explained what we were signing and what we would be paying. He didn't try to sugar coat anything, he had us laughing and completely comfortable with what he had committed to. Overall, the BEST experience we've ever had at a dealership, and pretty much with any salespeople in general! His knowledge of the products he offers is without parallel. Larry was so thorough in finding the exact model and option package I wanted. He made sure I examined all car options and took my needs into consideration. Gave me a great deal on the new car as well as a more than fair amount on my trade-in. We started our new car search looking at Toyota, Honda and Subaru. I conducted an internet search for comparative quotes. In the proces, I coresponded with over a dozen dealers and sales employees. When we decided on the RAV4 we narrowed down our search to Toyota. I found that from all the people I worked with Melisssa was by far the most enjoyable. She was straight forward and gave me a very competieve quote - the first time - no games. She listed all the "extras" with the out the door price. Along with helping us get the best financing for our credit score. There were no surprises. When we picked up the vechile, she was very accomidating to our whole family and took the time to make sure we were comfortable. Melissa took also to show us all the car features and even synced our phones for us. In the end, I felt that working with Melissa was like buying a car from a friend.
