Hello Augustin Andujar (asapstone), Warranties (from any car manufacture) will only cover parts that are defective due to a manufacturing process. They will not cover a repair due to the fuel YOU added to the car. It is our understanding that Speedway (the place you bought the contaminated fuel) has already stated that they would take care of the repair. Wow that is a tremendous response. I'm glad to know that in addition to being a dealership that has an intent to get a money grab out of people you guys are also really passive aggressive. None of those reviews are fake. One of them is from me, one is from my fiance who also has her vehicle serviced at Elmhurst Toyota (not anymore obviously), and Ryan is a toyota tech. These are just people who I told about my poor experience and took it upon themselves to give you a negative review. But seeing as how you guys choose to respond it's pretty clear that they weren't wrong in doing so. Speedway has not told me that they will do anything as of yet but their customer service was significantly better than the three horrible trips I've had to Elmhurst Toyota. You won't have to expect anymore reviews but what you can expect is that I will take this nice response you've given me and spread it out along with my review of your horrible dealership and you can also expect that when I get the maintenance done for this vehicle from now on whether it relates to the fuel or any other maintenance it won't be done at Elmhurst Toyota. You can also count on me not ever buying a vehicle from you, I try to buy a new car every year or two but at least I know that when I go shopping next time I don't even have to look in your direction. I truly appreciate that you were able to show me the true colors of your dealership staff and I hope that your poor business practices are what eventually brings you guys down. xxxxxxxx.

Hello Nicole, As Tony and I have both told you, once the unit is installed they can't just remove it ...it would leave holes in the bumper covers. plus the unit is operating as designed. I'm sorry you don't like the feature, the Toyota unit would operate similar to this unit. Tony said he offered you a $200.00 refund and your said you found that insulting. If you are offering $200, I would gladly take it. Let me know when I can pick up the check. However I feel compelled to note the discrepancy in your recollection vs mine. Tony “offered” $100, but not in a way that was “I’m sorry you’re not satisfied, here is a make good.”, but rather as a begrudgingly “You only spent $300 on both sensors, so we wouldn’t possibly offer anything more.” In reality we spent $1400, which required us to dig up receipts to prove since your paperwork wasn’t organized. So yes that entire situation and the lack of empathy was insulting. Additionally, you can’t deny that Corporate asked you twice to call me to resolve this, and you didn’t. That lack of respect is too hard to get past, which is why I won’t let this go. It’s a terrible product, and even if it’s operating as designed as you say, it shouldn’t be being sold to anyone.

Hello Nikki, I am happy you will "gladly take " $200 check , and I will notify you when is ready. However, I would also like to clarify, for public view facts of this unpleasant event: -you purchased brand new Toyota 4runner November 2020 -you purchased front and rear sensors, 2 weeks later(aftermarket) that will notify you when you are to close to objects around you by beeping sound. -your complaint is that front sensors are beeping when you are to close to car in front of you -per your request, we disconnected front sensors -you called corporate office, and complained about situation, requesting refund -I called you back two times, and yes, offered you $100 refund ,but than after I felt you are not happy with that, I did offer $200. Your response was "why do you wasting my time?" and hung up on me Again, I will notify you when check is ready for you to pick up. Thank you.

I'm sorry, but my recollection of series of events and these details are very different, so I cannot agree with what you stated here. -We purchased the car in September. I’m not sure where November is coming into play. -We purchased the aftermarket products the same day we purchased the car. They were just installed two weeks later based on availability. -Our complaint is that the sensors are going off when driving down the road with nothing around us (the explanation I received was that "june bugs" fly into the sensors), which is why we are saying it's a safety hazard. And yes, they also go off when we are waiting at a red light, but nowhere near within the distance of when they should be going off (we know, since the back work perfectly, and don't go off in the same situation). -Not once did we have a chance to speak after I contacted Corporate. We tried to work with you first before calling Corporate as a courtesy. There are absolutely records that support that. -While I admit my frustration was definitely apparent on our final call, I absolutely ended the call more professionally. I do this all day long for my career, and I know how to end conflicted calls without being rude. The "testing" the service team did never took the car outside of the service garage, so you wouldn't know what we are talking about. Both my husband and I have explained this multiple times, and maintain we do not believe the sensors are functioning as intended, although your team insists otherwise. Perhaps we should have gotten our complaint in writing since it sounds like your notes are incomplete.

Hello John Drewry, Thanks for the feedback. As stated on our eBay website the blower motor resister may need an addition wiring pigtail and we listed the part number is the listing description. You failed to read the description fully. We also state very clearly on our eBay site that any part return must be in the original unmolested packaging, you returned the part with no packaging ...at all!. The claim you filed with eBay found in our favor and they returned only 1/2 of the sale price.

I left this review on a Sunday dan the part and service director called me immediately at 7 am on Monday to tell me I read your review and I think you shouldn't come in here anymore. at which point he said if you don't listen to me I'll hang up and at the same time he said that I was sayin what are you gonna do hang up on me?Hahahhahah. That's when I told him what he can do with his smart mouth honestly this dealership woke me up to complain about my review and tell me to not come in when I had told them I wouldn't come back there and had already cancelled my appointment... These guys are cowards they then filed a false complaint against me with the local police because I recorded my interaction with them and they were offened when I called them out for thier shady business practices. They literally can't stand an honest review that describes my real experience with them stay away from these scam artists they try to make you think thier your friends and family but they are just price gougers who are really the elmhurst auto group. which is slowly failing due to change in the industry nobody wants a jaguar and they don't make no money off of economy cars. and you know you make less by not price gouging for phony labor and part repairs is just plain unprofitable ...although if you need a loan no questions asked is this is your place you just have to pay more for the car. Thier is no team it's dan Brian or Tony who responded to this and they are too cowardly too actually respond as an honest business man to the actually complaints...would you know why they wouldn't respond? They are scam artists and price gougers who will lie for a dollar. Their whole sales team was scared when I walked in there recording my interaction for my protection as allowed to me by law and I demanded a refund and to talk to the general manager and or owner. Tony told me thier is no general manager thats the owner and he doesn't get involved then tells I can't record it's private property and I'm like well then have the owner tell me... says to me I'm the owner???!!! I'm like wait now your the owner and he's like no I'm not I was like I know your not you con artist. you just claim to be the owner. the owner is the elmhurst auto group it didn't take much digging I already found more of these scam artists but they ain't worth the breathe so now to the BBB now you lie about that so much Tony you don't even know the truth is mister owner your not the owner you lied to my face that was your little lie though you've become so accoustmed to saying you slipped so stop lying to people... You think people even believe you? why would the owner of a dealership work there in person you think he would stand thier 12 hours a day six days a week? Honestly I didn't leave a bad review before cause I felt bad for you as people you work in a car dealership... but since I see how your part of the problem in america well your the worst predatory sales men arrogant staff and you just refuse service to people who don't brown nose you... Mile warranty for both .They put me in situation well if you don't like it go somewhere else. they did an engine flush that I was sure was covered under my service plan but no they did it then charged me 200 I was like $#@& wasn't gonna argue with them but I ate that one 200 for an engine flush I can do that myself for 30 bucks these guys are con men stay away. Mr. Akram, your vehicle was here first on 1/14/20 with 711 miles for a ECU reprogramming recall. You never mention noise on this visit. The first mention of the noise was 2/12/20 with 1066 miles on the vehicle, at which time we were not able to hear the noise you complained about. You completed a negative Toyota survey which I responded to on May 5, 2020. I told you at that time to let me know when you would like to bring car in and we would re-inspect vehicle for noise. You never called me to set appointment nor did you let me know car came in for inspection, yesterday June 11, 2020. You are correct, at that exact second, I was in the middle of a time sensitive issue that needed may attention and I was unavailable when you demanded my immediate attention. Steve the service advisor told you I was not available for a little bit but you wanted me NOW! Our service manager Brian Corrigan was available immediately. Brian investigated your concern and found noise to be due to accident damage under the vehicle which is not a warrantable concern. Brian bent the damaged heat shield so the noise would no longer happen.

yeah i was expecting this same anwer from you guys. and no there was no accidental damage done by me. if there was a damage done why would i bring the car again and again to tour dealership as i know you guys will find that u did something wring with the car. but i kept on coming again and again and you guys keep on telling me that there is no noise. and now when you guys found the fault you guys are putting on me. may be you advised your mechanic to put some marks of damage on the defective prt so you can put blame on the customer.such a big dealership and doing this cheap tactics to save $613 repair cost. i will definitely make sure that i will put my concern to every possible and available platform. and yes i did saw you how much busy were you. talking to the other customer which was there too without appointment and you did passed by me twice but didn’t bother to ask me about my concern
