Mohammed Ali sold us a lemon. Bend Mohammed sold us a lemon and has been consistently rude to us the second we signed the paperwork. First, he asked us to lie on all reviewing platforms so he would get his bonus. We did, because we didn’t know he sold us a broken car and why not help someone out. Little did we know his true colors. Then, with only 700 miles on it (bought it at about 400 miles) the check engine light came on and said we needed a full system check. The car was accelerating too rapidly and behaving dangerously a few times before the light came on, and also stalled out. We have driven the car three times in ten days, and each time we drive it the check engine light comes on and we promptly bring it in and get it fixed. When we brought the issue to Mohammed’s attention, he accused us of not going to our repairs appointment (we have, every time), he said it wasn’t his problem, and also proceeded to hang up on us when we called him stranded on the side of the road. He lied about that too. In all follow up exchanges he has incredibly rude customer service and behaves as if he isn’t a Hyundai employee and is not looking out for his customers. He attitude shows he’s not concerned about repeat sales. I also want to reiterate that this car has less than 1400 miles on it, and is less than 45 days old. Brand new. In addition, the folks in the service department seem to behave and think we’re idiots. The first time they simply reset the check engine light code and called me “sweetie” and said nothing was wrong. We are now on three attempts to fix the same problem in one week. No one seems to care about the issue, and they won’t tow us when we’re stranded or provide loaner vehicles despite everything that’s happened so far. More
