Buying a new car at McGrath City Hyundai was an absolutely delightful experience, probably the best I can remember. They were open to answer all our questions, and not afraid to say "no" when they didn't have a solution to a specific need, and managed through the process in the most pleasant way. Even price negotiation, that's always full of tension, went very smoothly, and both parties came out of it with dignity and with a smile on the face. We came in not knowing what to expect, and we ended up leasing a better car than we were planning, and still fitting in the original budget that we set to ourselves. I will admit I had some reservations, due to my recent experience with several other dealers. It was infact the good reputation of McGrath and the forthright manner of Marcus that convinced me I needed to come into McGrath Hyundai. Upon my arrival and just as we had discussed on the phone Marcus greeted me with a relaxed smile and had the 2012 Hyundai Elantra ready to test drive. Marcus was extremely knowledgable of the vehicles and never took advantage of the opportunity to blow smoke to push his product. Instead he provided a sense of comfort with the confident manner in which he answered my questions. He walked me through the delivery process and explained my vehicles bells and whistles in detail following the sale. I have great respect for those who work in honesty and integrity. My experience with Terrance Thomas (salesman)was excellent he is very friendly and nice. He makes a great salesman. He did his job and was suppose to get as much as he could with the customer. He quoted me the price on the internet after talking with his manager the price all of a sudden went up. However the Manager was very stern and wasn't letting me out of the contract. They quoted me one price and pressured me to buy this truck. Towards the end of the deal they charge me for the repairs to the truck of $800.00 in which they were liable for (because one of their workers damaged the truck)then they didn't want to come out of the deal. Also, the internet says one price the dealership says another. I will never ever do business with these people again. The manager who makes the prices go up and down need to learn not to swindle people. However, I should of did my homework and research this dealership before I went. I truly blame myself out of desperation needing a vehicle badly after the damages from the storm. More
