I have never been to a worse car dealership in my life!! We live in WI and called for an '09 Sonata Limited. We were told that if we financed with them they would work on the price with us. I used to be a car salesman and was expecting an aggressive salesforce. Well when we got there Charles met us in the lot. Agressive but funny salesman. We liked him. He took us through the sales process and had us park across the street in the service drive when we finished the demo. The car was heavily scratched up and the inside was not in the greatest shape. Later on we found out the car had had an impact to the rear bumper and someone had painted over it to conceal it. Tires were shot. So we went in to the showfloor and sat at his desk. There were only two things we asked for, tires and scratches fixed. After waiting for extended amounts of time (outdated tactic), the so called manager came out (Andrew) and denied every request. Then when he said he would give me tires at cost, the cost was $800.00 dollars (which of course was retail). He wouldn't budge on the price or any requests we made on the car. They also said that it was the only car like it in 250 miles. Well, if you don't walk away at least once, your probably not getting what you can. We did and they still didn't budge. At one time they said that the auto start, that was already in the car, would be included instead of the tires being replaced. These people are crazy greedy! We left and ended up calling Waukesha Hyundai. They had the same car with upgrades and they matched the price over the phone, even though it was listed higher and was in 300% better shape. They also offered to pay our gas to get there if the car wasn't everything they said it was. We will be buying the car from Waukeshaw. They know how to treat customers and their salesforce was getting slammed unlike the few customers that left McGrath. To sum it up. The experience at McGrath was the shadiest, trickiest, unfriendliest, most expensive, misleading, and most time consuming I have ever experienced anywhere. This dealership gives a bad name to salepeople and car dealerships and if they had the last car on earth, I would buy a donkey. The gimmicks and lies that they employ at this place are incredible. It would have been funny if I had not wanted the car. One last thing. If you are dumb enough to actually go to this place after reading this, make sure you get everything in writing before your move to the next thing you are negotiating and check the car, if it's used, out VERY, VERY thourougly! Our car, online was listed as "CERTIFIED", but when we got there they were calling it a "PRE-CERTIFIED" car and were charging or negotiating for the certification. This is a pathetic dealership still caught in the stone age of how sales should be conducted. More

Qucik service, knew that this was covered from when I bought the car, so they knew they weren't going to receive any money. Still treated wonderful. Fast, and my car looks beautiful. Please don't be fooled by the lower price posted on the used car sale website. I tried to buy a 2011 Kia Optima. The price was listed differently at different websites. Their inventory said $18,990; Tr used car sale website. I tried to buy a 2011 Kia Optima. The price was listed differently at different websites. Their inventory said $18,990; Truecar.com said $16,990; and at some other sites, it was $17,990. So I called McGragth and talked to Elba Millares, Customer Care Center Manager. She told me that she and her dealers honor the advertised price and asked me to print it out and bring it to them. So I printed the $16,990 posting and visited there two days after talking with her. But what I experienced was totally out of imagination. First of all, Elba was not there even though she confirmed the time of my visit over the phone. Secondly, the dealer whose name I don't know showed me 2012 optima, instead of the car I wanted to buy. Then later, he told me that the Opitma at the price of $16,990 was sold at the night I called Elba. What kinds of dealers are doing business like this! I came back home and checked the car-sale websites. The Truecar.com has a posting of $18,990, and their inventory still shows the price is $18,990. They LIED to me because they did not want to sell the car $2,000 less. They can tell a lie to you. You cannot trust the McGrath dealers. More

It’s easy to give a 1,000 points to McGrath City Hyundai - the reason why - Eddie V. (in service), Rigo and Chris. Eddie and Rigo have been with me for a very long time and unless my car broke down (out of - the reason why - Eddie V. (in service), Rigo and Chris. Eddie and Rigo have been with me for a very long time and unless my car broke down (out of state) and I couldn’t get to their location, NO other dealer, mechanic, neighborhood repair shop or handy man is allowed to service my car - PERIOD! I purchased my first car from Jacobs Twin (McGrath now) and that’s where I first encountered the customer service I have become accustomed too. Purchased a new car from McGrath BECAUSE I knew Eddie, Rigo and Chris would be connected to the purchase because of service. McGrath should be very lucky to have staff as such – like I’ve said before, they go, I go – that’s how well they take care of me and my baby – my car. I am forever grateful to them because I could go anywhere but I keep coming back to McGrath. More
