I Rated McGrath Hyundai a 5 because where time I go there I get the best service. Christine T. is outstanding and she definitely adds to the great experience I have time after time at McGrath. She remembers me and makes me feel welcome every time. One Saturday, when I was in my 6th months of pregnancy I had a threaten miscarriage at the dealership getting my oil change. I was so worried about messing up their chair while I waited for the ambulance, Chirstine was right by my side telling me everything was going to be ok and don’t worry about the chair. While I was at the hospital Christine contacted my husband to make sure we were ok. She even followed up every day until she heard my voice and I told her me and the baby is fine. I carried my son full term and he is now 9 months. Every time I go in for service my family and I look forward to seeing Chirstine. I have several Hyundai dealers I can go to for an oil change but we drive an extra 20 minutes because of the great service, people, and honesty we get from McGrath Hyundai. Eddie & Christine were wonderful! My car was damaged by the city of Chicago when I had it towed there. Eddie called me right away with a quote, the next day my car was ready to be picked up! Tragically, that same night my Brother-in-law was killed in a car accident. Needless to say, I rushed home to Minnesota to be with my family. I for my part, was not communicating with Eddie as well as I should have. He called me a few times and left voice mails, every message he left me he was very polite, never rude when I am sure he was frustrated and annoyed, and just wanted to know where the heck I was and when I was going to pick up my car! When I finally got back to Chicago I spoke to Christine, I had just left my brother in laws funeral and was still pretty upset when we spoke. She was SO kind and understanding of my situation. When I came in this afternoon to pick up my car she even hugged me and told me to take care! It was such a small gesture, but I genuinely appreciated it! Although I am leaving Chicago, I have already told a number of people how fantastic the service dept is! More
Horrible!!!!!! I called and got an out the door price on a 2012 Tuscon. Tom, the manager said he had the car. I told him I would be there at 5:30 to buy. We got there and they didn t have the car and tried to sell us a different car. Then they denied quoting us the out the door price. This seems to be a common practice to get consumers in the door so they can try to make any sale. I am sick of this dishonesty in this auto sales industry and this is the second time this has happened to me this year. Are only say in this is to never shop there and these reviews. I went in for my oil change which included a car wash which is fantastic service! Eddie greeted me with a smile as usual! While I waited, Chris helped me and told me to help myself to complentary service which is fantastic service! Eddie greeted me with a smile as usual! From the moment the doors open in the service section someone is there to greet you. As you describe what is wrong with your vehicle the service area personel actually listen. Christine arranged for me to have a loaner for the 2 days that my vehicle was being serviced. I was given an update as to what was found to be wrong with my vehicle and also given a time that they believed that my vehicle would be fixed and ready for pickup. Christine is very professional and helpful. Most people hate going to the dealer service area, I'm guessing that they have never been to McGrath and had Christine help them. More

My husband and I made an appointment to go in on Saturday. When we arrived their on Saturday Aug,11, We were helped by Robert Gil Sales Consultant. He was so very accomadating,and had all the the an Saturday. When we arrived their on Saturday Aug,11, We were helped by Robert Gil Sales Consultant. He was so very accomadating,and had all the the answers we had asked of him of the car we were interested in, which was the Veloster. He then took us to the other lot where the new cars were to show us all of the Veloster's that were in stock. He spent a great deal of time with us and went over all our questions, and options. He was delightful, and so very helpful and patient. We ended up picking the car that we wanted and both of us just love . On Monday morning he did a follow up call to make sure everything was good, and really wanted to make sure we were happy, which we are. He was great, and so was the Finance Manager Carl, as was Eddie Deppen Sales Manager. It was a pleasure from the start of us walking in to the end of us driving out with our new vehicle. I would recommennd McGrath to everyone and without a doubt, Robert Gil. Just a small note we had visited another Hyundai dealership in the suburbs, they were horrible. A very bad experience. After quite an unpleasant experience, this dealership turned our whole day around. The warmth and friendliness received was probably one of the best car buying experiences.
