Excellent used car buying experience Found an Audi Q5 they had listed online. Contacted Eugene and reached an agreement on price. I flew in the next day and caught an Uber from the air Found an Audi Q5 they had listed online. Contacted Eugene and reached an agreement on price. I flew in the next day and caught an Uber from the airport to get to the dealership. I arrived to find the car in doors, perfectly detailed, and in impeccable condition. Both the vehicle and the dealership far exceeded my expectations. More

Slow but good customer service I met with Joeseph Svoboda in the morning and we did a test drive on a used car. Great guy answered all ya questions. Had some other cars to look at but they weren’t as nice as the one Joe showed me so I called back saying I’d be there 30 min to purchase the car at the price we talked about. I get there and it takes them over 2 hours to get me in to an office to start signing papers (not Joseph’s fault but upper management). Like the title says I like the customer care but they need to stream line people purchasing vehicles. More
Timing chain slipped while they were servicing my car My 2014 BMW X3 went in for an alternator replacement, while there they failed to diagnose a loose timing belt, which was not noticeable at the time I My 2014 BMW X3 went in for an alternator replacement, while there they failed to diagnose a loose timing belt, which was not noticeable at the time I dropped the car off, but was as I was pulling out of the repair shop. Was encouraged to spend $2,400 to replace the timing chain and oil pump by my service representative (over the expressed recommendation of the tech). After doing the repair the car it was determined that the engine was nocking and that I would have to spend another $12,000 to replace the engine. They refused to refund the original repair. I ended up purchasing a different car, but it took three weeks of negotiating with the dealership, service, and BMW to get down to a satisfactory price. And even though I was spending over $30K on a new car they still made me pay for a part that didn't fix the car. My salesman did good work and probably helped me negotiate through a bureaucratic nightmare, but it was only my persistence that made a price palatable. Overall my experience was a disappointment and one that I will not be repeating at Elmhurst BMW again. More
