I Talked with George on a internet to get the price of New 2011 Kia Sorento LX. He replied with the price little over to $20000 and I agreed to visit the dealer. What I found was that the car he gave me was a used loaners car. I also mentioned I have trade in but they did not looked at it. The positive side is that I felt welcome at Arlington Kia and did not feel pressured that much. I talked with sales person Dan Wyss who was very helpful and friendly. I started this new car buying experience as a surprise for my son's 9th birthday. Although he was completely embarrassed by my old car I was not looking forward to the hassle of purchasing a new car. My past experiences with dealerships have been less than enjoyable and in some cases downright irritating. I walked on to the lot, and rather than being swarmed and immediately pressured I was greeted nicely and left alone to know that if I needed anything they would be right there when I needed them. The salesperson (Melissa) showed me exactly what I was interested in and was just as excited about my plan to surprise my son as I was. She helped me find the perfect model of KIA Soul, and worked with Melissa, of used car sales, on the financing until the payments were right within my price range. On top of that Scott worked out a way for me to install a sunroof at a reasonable price. It was the icing on the birthday cake surprise. The whole dealership joined in on the fun of surprising my son. The car was full of balloons, they found me a giant bow to place on top, there were messages “written” on the floor mats that said Happy Birthday and Surprise; and to top it all off they wrapped a special little present for him and placed it on the passenger seat. My son agrees that this was the best Birthday ever, and I owe it all to the friendly and helpful associates at Arlington KIA. Of course, he is only 9, so he has 7 more years until he officially gets to take the wheel. In the mean time his new bike (which matches the KIA) will be his wheels, but he is super excited to get his first chance to drive that car, and when he does take it over I hope this dealership is still around for me to get my next new car!
