I absolutely loved my salesman Mr. Gandhi. Though clearly eager to close the deal, he showed professionalism throughout the entire process. If there is one thing that dissuades me from shopping at Arlington Kia again, it is what happened in the finance office after I agreed to the sale. After conducting business with a professional sales person to determine a reasonable price for a car, the last thing I need is to sit and haggle over a series of dealer add-on costs that add another 15-20% to the price of the car and render services that I don't need. Especially troubling was Mr. Sturn's insistence that the Pivotal Security option was as much a part of the vehicle as pin stripes on a paint job. If this is the case, then the previously agreed-upon price should be paid, not an additional $400.00. This was a ridiculous argument which served no purpose but to talk me into a complete rip-off. Fortunately, I was able to have this charge removed from my final price. Bottom line: IF YOU STOP TRYING TO SCREW PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY THEY DON'T NEED TO SPEND, THEN USED CAR DEALERSHIPS WON'T HAVE SUCH A POOR REPUTATION FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. High marks for Mr. Gandhi. I rate him an A+++. The finance office gets a D-. More

I initially contacted the dealer on line. All of my questions were answered very promtly. I then visited the showroom a few times before making my purchase. The rest of the staff were very friendly and made the whole showroom experience pleasant. I was in and out of the dealer in a very short time. Stopped by the other night to look at Optimas. Dave came out and met with us, and took us on two test drives. The first was the car we eventually ended up buying, and the second was a turbo-equipped version out and met with us, and took us on two test drives. Dave knew we had no intention of buying the more expensive car, but he had no problem obliging my desire to drive it anyways. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. When it came down to negotiations for the first car, he told us he'd bring us a number we couldn't refuse. He was right. Not only was it waaaaaaay under MSRP, it was way under Edmund's values as well. Not only that, but they threw in a few extras for free that sweetened the deal. There was very little back and forth to come up with a deal; I really hate wheeling and dealing, and it was thankfully a very painless car buying experience. Dwight led us through the financing options, and everything was spelled out to us very clearly. Nobody played any games with us. All in all it was a really great experience, and I look forward to a long relationship with this dealership. More

Similar to writer "svalko" I had a bad experience with the finance manager in regards the security etching. I was told that it is on all the cars, which may or may not be true. But I was told that they can remove it but the $399 charge would be added to the purchase price anyway. Shame on me for not reading the fine print "this guarantee is not required in order to purchase.......". So I suggest you refuse to sign the Bill of Sale which include any no value added "+++" as they call it and just walk away from the deal as I should have done. More
