Horrendous & Fraudulent Run Company One of the worst car experiences. I am not a newbie to purchasing new cars and paying them off (typically, before my contract is up). Talk about a jok One of the worst car experiences. I am not a newbie to purchasing new cars and paying them off (typically, before my contract is up). Talk about a joke of a dealership! I was in a position where my car literally was not worth saving, so a new one was much needed. Being a woman, I understand that I can be scammed immediately into or about anything car related. Luckily enough, I brought my lawyer/close friend with as a helpful hand during this situation. Literally, the car I traded in, does not work and will most likely cause some incredible accident, hence why I did not get anything for it. That was understandable and not even close to my issue with them. The issue, that a day later, my trade-in vehicle is on the lot to be sold. None the less, the amount of work needed on it wasn't even feasible by them (it wasn't even a Kia) let alone in less than a 36 hr period of time. To add some icing to the cake, they have a bank call me, stating that the dealerships initial deal, rate, etc. didn't go through as proposed, needed my social security, etc. Regardless of that being the case, why in the world would I be receiving a call from anyone outside of the Kia location, I purchased my vehicle, for a social security they should already have. Currently, I am still dealing with this absurd nonsense, as is my lawyer; I've been warned now though, "they will probably wait till after the holidays to contact you for more money down and a higher right" even after contract has been completed. Needless to say, whatever you do as an end consumer - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ADVANTAGE KIA OF PALATINE whither it be a new or used car (not even if Kia craftsmanship) as the car literally may be a junker, risk your life, your high credit or even if new, completely scam you on. More

He was friendly, helpful, and above all trustworthy. He meant what he said, and said what he meant - no BS. At the other two KIA dealers there were misunderstandings, misquoting, mistakes, etc. Not here. Not with Joe. My deal was exactly as said to me on the phone. And a deal that was better by hundreds from the other KIA dealer. He took the time to explain to me all the new "techy" features before I drove away as well. I can't vouch for the dealership as yet of course, but I would definitely recommend dealing with Joe if you're looking for a KIA in the future! A very good experience. More
Horrible experience Had to have my car towed 2x's in three months. This time it was brought in early Wednesday afternoon, had to call on Thursday afternoon to find out the status. They could not find out what the noise was, but they did find two issues that needed to be repaired. I told them why it was towed in Dec and the service guy was going to tell the tech and get right back to me. Again, after 24 hrs of no contact, I called the dealer to find out the status of my car. They were waiting to hear from the extended warranty to go ahead with the repairs. I mentioned one of the issues was something they repaired in Dec. My car was finally ready at 4:30pm on Friday. When I went to pick it up, they had washed it on one of the coldest days of the winter. My doors were frozen, my mirrors were frozen, and my windshield had frost on the inside of the car. I have had nothing but trouble with this car and service has not been much better. The car is only 6 years old, 56,000 miles. I would never recommend this car or this dealership. More

He quickly ascertained my needs and wants, and never forgot them or tried to talk me into anything. I felt like Greg was working with and for me, which made the whole process very smooth, enjoyable even. After arriving at a price I liked, I worked with Dave Roth in the finance office, where I was pleasantly surprised to find that my actual monthly payment would be slightly lower than the agreed price. If ever asked for auto dealer tips, I will recommend Arlington Kia as the first, best choice. More
Initially, the issues I had with my car was a chirping sound that was issues from the rear. To stop this sound, the service team at Kia recommended to get my brakes replaced. They replaced my brakes and ensured me that I would be good to go. Now, approximately 15 months and 22,000 mlies later, the brakes on my same car need to be replaced again. Meanwhile, the chirping noise never went away. What's more is that the other Kia dealership I went to, to get a second opinion, agrees with the brakes needing to be replaced, and was trying to charge me $100 more than the Arlington Kia for the exact same service. What brakes should be replaced after 22,000 miles?!?! Incredibly infuriating encounters. I'll be surprised if I ever buy another Kia, let alone visit another Kia service center. Very disappointing experiences. More
