Requested three times and each time was met with a response to come in or that they can beat any printed price. I am a savvy shoppy but I was fair and just requested an out the door price including all fees. Saleman did not want to provide the information and kept replying with unnecessary information until the vehicle sold. I am assuming dealership adds fees and those are only disclosed at the end of the sale as several Google reviews wrote about their experience of driving 300+ miles and being quoted a higher price and a necessary warranty that they must buy. Shoppers beware! More

It was being leased and the lease wasn’t up until October, but I was already over on my mileage by a few thousand. I knew that by the time the lease was up, I would be owing hundreds of dollars in extra mileage fees that I knew that I could not afford, so I decided to trade in the Optima early and get a new car with similar monthly payments. I was weary of trading it in to begin with because I was uncomfortable with how much my salesman Chris was quoting me. However, he promised that they would completely pay off the remaining payments on my Optima including the extra mileage fees, any damages, etc. After some time of negotiations, the finance manager ended up giving me a number I could agree with. They showed the total value and the remaining payments and whatnot. Me, THINKING THEY COULD DO MATH CORRECTLY, signed the paperwork to get a 2018 Forte. May comes around and I get notices from Kia saying that I still owed them almost $400. I contacted the finance department asking what this $394 was and was notified that I had signed an agreement saying they would only pay the amount they had quoted us. After looking at it more carefully, THEIR CALCULATIONS HAD SHORTED ME A MONTHS WORTH OF PAYMENTS FROM THE PRIOR LEASE. I had called and spoke with sales manager Mike telling him they did their math wrong and was hoping they would fix it. I had explained that one of the biggest reasons why I got a new Forte was because they promised to fully pay my Optima off. He said because I signed the paperwork, there was nothing they could do. I explained that I cannot afford to make this final payment because the cost of my Forte was at the very top of my budget and that I am currently practically living paycheck to paycheck. He never once expressed any compassion, nor apologized for the fact that THEY messed up. I straight up asked, “So basically you’re telling me I’m screwed?” and without a skipping a beat he replied, “Yes”. While it is somewhat my fault for not carefully double checking the math from the FINANCE department, their lack of empathy or caring about their customers is saddening. It’s evident that Kia Arlington doesn’t really care what happens post-purchase, as all they care about is making a sale. Because of my financial situation, this $394 payment has gone to collections as I can’t afford this unexpected expense, and it has greatly affected my credit score. I will never, EVER recommend this dealership to anyone, nor am I likely to purchase another Kia again as a result of this bait and switch. More
DECEITFUL STAY AWAY Called and received a price on a car. Daniel Brennan emailed me the price. Told him cash out the door ( numerous times). Went there to put a down pay Called and received a price on a car. Daniel Brennan emailed me the price. Told him cash out the door ( numerous times). Went there to put a down payment down and to test drive. When it came time for the paper work Daniel's manager Michael Quigley came over to us and said Daniel made a mistake by $ 1000.00. They forgot to add in destination charges, also they thought I was financing so they gave me $1000.00 discount for that. I could not have been more clear about cash! Michael Quigley was the most obnoxious person I have ever dealt with in my life. He said he would overlook the financing but not the destination charges. Told him I had it in writing and he said it was a mistake. He would not stand behind it, I told him if this was a mistake from your salesman you should stand behind it and not penalize the customer. He had a carefree but determined attitude and made it clear he was not budging! Michael Quigley is very ignorant and tries to be a very demeaning person to a point that I said I would have to think about it because I thought it was very unethical. He said the offer was only good until 9:00 pm and it was now 8:30. I can not understand how Kia could have such a deceitful and ignorant manager! It was at that time I called Ed Napleton of Elmhurst they not only waited for us but they were so friendly, courteous and honorable and they found the car we were looking for and we bought it the next day! I highly advise you to stay away from McGrath Arlington and if you want a professional car dealership with no pressure visit Ed Napleton of Elmhurst . Sincerely Donna M More

From the beginning, I informed the salemsan that I didn't want a beige interior. I told him many times. As I chose a make/model - SLX Turbo, I test drove the car He told me it was the only one on the lot. I was supposed to understand that this was the car I was buying, even though it was never stated. Also, my previous car was shipped from another dealership so it meant nothing that this dealership has no other SLXs, it would come from another one. In good faith, I signed all the paperwork, and went out to the car with everything finished - the car was black with a beige interior. I yelled out loud becasue I was shocked. The salesamn said it was fine because I had the protection plan. I had no idea what to do. I should have refused the deal right there but I felt pressured by him to take the car. I drove it off the lit assuming we could fix this problem Monday. I emailed both the salesman and owner. Then I spoke wiht the owner. I was informed that there was nothing else I could do and was stuck with the car. He offered to pay for half of my remote start, which should have been included in a 36,000 car. I said thank you but I would handle it. I feel betrayed and frustrated that they were not honest since I trusted them. That was the last car I will ever buy from them and Kia. They do not care about a customer relationship, which they say they do. They were shiesters and I will share this information with the Better Business Bureau. Sincerely, Leslie More
Blantant lies and deception I would warn everyone to avoid this dealership, they blatantly lie to you and have no qualms about selling you cars riddled with issues. We purchas I would warn everyone to avoid this dealership, they blatantly lie to you and have no qualms about selling you cars riddled with issues. We purchased a used car, but noticed that despite their comprehensive "inspection process"(I must have heard this a dozen times during the sales pitch) there were a few issues during the test drive that needed to be fixed; they documented and agreed to fix these issues as part of the purchase. Only one of three issues finally ended up being fixed after they had our car for over a week. It was clear they didn't even investigate one of them, that would have involved removing the tires of the vehicle and the lug nuts were still corroded on. They told us that they thoroughly looked and couldn't find an issue. The staff is complacent at best, they don't return phone calls, clearly the culture encourages sales to lie to customers, and the service manager is condescending and rude. I know that finding a good dealership is not easy, but these guys are the bottom of the barrel, just stay away. More
I would avoid the cocky sales managers at this dealer! I would avoid this place. When I walked in I was greeted quickly by a sales guy who was helpful at the beginning but when we walked outside he answere I would avoid this place. When I walked in I was greeted quickly by a sales guy who was helpful at the beginning but when we walked outside he answered his phone... didn't even ask me if that was ok. He insisted on looking at cars over the budget which I explained to him right at the beginning. To top off the whole situation I said thank you and that I don't think this will work right now and started to walk away slowly. He started explaining that I needed to walk into talk to his manager so he doesn't get yelled at. I agree to walk in and explained my goals to the sales manager (two of them) and one explained that he owned the store so he can make the numbers work.... we talked and he made a bunch of sarcastic comments about how I know the deals better than them and explained that they do this everyday so who am to say these things. I simply said forget you guys and walked out.... stay away from the crooks. Please consider Napelton or even Gerald for excellent service! More
Can't trust them. Dishonest sales tactics. Won't negotiate. Sales people smile but you can't trust them. On Sat they dropped the price of the car I wanted to buy by $1,000. But when I talked to them on Monday, Sales people smile but you can't trust them. On Sat they dropped the price of the car I wanted to buy by $1,000. But when I talked to them on Monday, the price was back up to the previous amount. Poor business ethics. They tried to sell me something called VIN-etch. Don't ever buy that, it's a SCAM. You can buy a VIN etching kit and do it yourself for $30-$40. And they want to charge $995. for this bogus addition. It's just a money maker for the company and not worth what they want you to pay. I told them I didn't want it. But he wouldn't remove it. But he would never give an answer as to why he couldn't remove it if I didn't want it. Also, the salesman used the "poor me" line. He told me "I'm not going to make any money on the car" (boo hoo). He's already making a hefty salary (his uncle owns the business). I didn't need to hear his sob story and it made him sound like a wimp, and I didn't believe it. It's baloney. More
