He did an excellent job making us feel comfortable and welcomed. Chet provided detailed information on all the questions we had. He was big part of the reason we decided to purchase the vehicle, since we felt we could trust his advice. The car was in good condition and so far is running well. The finance department was a little busy at that time, delaying a little the purchase process, but no big issue. We still believe we got a very good vehicle for a very good price. Thank you Chet and McGrath Arlington Kia! ILIR SAKO - Client More

No privacy, no accountability, no maturity Never in my life have I ever dealt with a more rude group of individuals. My wife bought a car from them about 2 weeks ago and the sales/service staf Never in my life have I ever dealt with a more rude group of individuals. My wife bought a car from them about 2 weeks ago and the sales/service staffs were beyond helpful. We had some questions that we dealt with with the financing department that got us all hot and bothered for a couple weeks but then that got sorted out, took longer than it should have though mind you. My wife is trying to refinance her car with her own bank for a lower rate since they can't or won't give her a lower APR even with her excellent credit. Her bank is ready to pay off the loan for this troublesome vehicle but they still haven't finished the paperwork to create an account number with the lien holder, but turns out they changed bank/lien holder without notice especially after we just came in yesterday and asked specifically about it. She wants to pay off this loan immediately and not accrue interest for the period she's had the car and not deal with the dealership anymore! So when we call today and shocker, I tried 5 different extensions through their automated system---no answer. Finally get ahold of somebody and it is their "finance director"...or so he claimed to be. My wife is asking him about this and I can here him being blatant, and short with his answers and rebuddled responses in not answering a xxxx question. I then take the phone, in an understandably stressful situation. I explain myself and the situation yet again, and he continues to be short and pompous. Then I start getting mad and instead of doing your stupid job and trying to empathize and try to calm the customer down, he gets in a shouting match with me....and then hangs up on me! I didn't swear and I didn't get personal, and they can listen to their call recordings, I look forward to hearing that poor excuse of an apology, if they can even own up to that to say the least. News flash buddy, if you can't handle a disgruntled customer, walk out that door because that is not the job for you. I told him I would be in there Friday to talk about this in person because I did not care for his tone over the phone. He told me to be there and I can guarantee you that he won't be there. After my wife wrote her last bad review they of course, all of a sudden, customer satisfaction is the number one guarentee. I'll tell you right now it is illegal to change loan banks on a customer's account, especially not notifying the customer. Not to mention we went in yesterday to talk to another financee and we brought up this bank and he never made it aware of a change. Better check your documents guy's because we have our's right in front of us. After you write a bad review, dont bother calling the number they give you. Though he sounds helpful on the phone, when you are asked to go in, you are not fulfilled. We travelled 15 miles to not even get a sit down, he answered half of our questions at the door then handed us over to somebody else who could not answer them because it was not his so called field. I understand that a lot of people were happy with their purchases at this location, but when somebody is not, they CONTINUE to give you the run around and stay in total denial and self entitlement. I am at my last straw with this company and if you want to shout with me over the phone and try to match anger like a child, you better hope you can handle that in person as well as you believe you did on the phone. It takes a lot to get me upset and I have never dealt with a company like this that refuses to take any accountability or responsibility for their actions. One last thing, though you are being recorded in their offices during the signings of paperwork, there are no signs up and they do not notify you that you are being recorded, pretty sure that is illegal too and against your rights against protection of your privacy. I have pictures proving it as well in the dealership. The second you have a problem with the car you might well get used talking to a wall because they will just point to your signature on the contract. If I could leave negative-valued stars.........I would. This whole paragraph in lehman's terms--- disgraceful. More
I Should've Read the Reviews First! This is not my first time buying a car, but this is the first time I felt taken advantage of. Buying a car should be a relief and not cause you to wor This is not my first time buying a car, but this is the first time I felt taken advantage of. Buying a car should be a relief and not cause you to worry or have second thoughts after the fact. Granted it was partly my fault because I was really excited about finding the used car I wanted that all my senses went out the door. The salesman, Chet was really nice and helpful as they all should when trying to make a sale. He didn't have any info on prices though which was my main concern. When I was finally handed off to TJ from their financing department I asked him the same thing "What's the total amount after all the fees?" His response was I'll explain it to you after we finish signing these documents. That should've been a red flag and I should've said NO! But stupid me I was in cloud 9 about getting a car that I was just signing away! At some point I asked again before I signed the Payment Contract and pointed out if that's the total price, he said yes. Come to find out later it was the total price minus my down payment already. Long story short, after reading all the documents thoroughly my $17k used car listed on Carfax is actually a $23k car and with the finance charges it came out to $27,000. For that amount I could've bought a new car with lower interest! Hard Lesson Learned for sure! Oh and they charged me for the Service Contract after I said No to it, I just wanted a warranty. Why do I need to drive 22mi for Lifetime Car Washes and Loaners especially if I don't plan on living in Illinois forever! Maybe if it was a Lifetime of Maintenance it would be worth it, but a year Nah!!! They refuse to take it off even though I originally said No to it, they just added it anyways without my knowledge because it's mandatory! When my husband called the next day about the backup key not working and to speak with someone about the situation, Ken the General Mgr was rude and condescending to him that he ended up calling back and got help from Jim and Chet instead. Don't Come Here unless you want to get ripped off! More
Beware and avoid not worth being ripped off go elsewhere!! Went there for a car my daughter wanted and made the "deal" after waiting for hours for the sales manager to agree to it. Not from the area so ready t Went there for a car my daughter wanted and made the "deal" after waiting for hours for the sales manager to agree to it. Not from the area so ready to get home signed all the paperwork only to realize later that they had wrote it up at a different price than the agreed amount and salesman, sales manager and even general manager will not return calls or emails. Because they know they ripped us off. They are liars and crooks. I was not from the area so could not simply go back in to talk about it. Later found out they even sent in for a higher loan than was even on the paperwork that was not even the agreed on price so stole from us twice. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!! More

The dealership was easy going and relaxed, and my Salesperson, Chester Nichols was the most pleasant I have ever dealt with. I got a great deal on a nice car. Thanks, Chester! More

The problem is that I can’t get them to stop contacting me. I’ve emailed them multiple times that I bought a car elsewhere and asked them to stop emailing me about vehicles and to take their detailed survey on why I didn’t buy from them. I unsubscribed multiple times but the emails keep coming. I guess I’ll just block them. My recommendation: never give them your email. More
Total Rip Off- Avoid this Dealership I went to McGrath Kia to get my oil changed and my tires rotated as usual. When I was done, I went to the sales floor and said I was interested in trading in my current vehicle. After learning more about pricing, i realized that right now wasn't the right time for me to buy a car. I was trying to find out more about what my purchasing options were so sometime in the next couple months I could perhaps get a new car. I had to meet with a finance manager who didn't know what he was doing. He started handing me paperwork. He told me it was necessary to sign the papers to check my eligibility for financing. I very hesitantly started signing paperwork and then I was told I got a really good deal and when we got to contract and started reading numbers he said just sign then took it away. I never had a chance to read what I was signing nor was my head in the right place to buy anything as I am still dealing with the grief of my Brother's recent passing. The sales staff told me I could take the car home for the night. When I got home, I reviewed the papers they gave me at the dealership, and realized they sold me a car! A car that I simply cannot afford at this time, and a car that initially was supposed to be $27k with a $14k trade-in, became a $30k car with only a $11k offer to buy my existing vehicle. With interest, this car will cost me $51k! The dealership refused to cancel this deal and I am seeking legal action More
Bad Experience with Chris Duplancich Contacted this dealer about a CPO Kia K900. Chris called me and said he saw my online inquiry for the K900 they had. That it was available and since Contacted this dealer about a CPO Kia K900. Chris called me and said he saw my online inquiry for the K900 they had. That it was available and since it was the end of the month they had a $3000 incentive on select vehicles. When I mentioned that was great, "is this k900 one of the select vehicles?" yeah, im pretty sure. Then he explains how they price their cars aggressively so that they don't have much margin since everyone shops online these days. I said "well apparently you have at least $3,000 in margin, right?" He said "that is for select models" Is the K900 one of those select models I ask? "Ill have to check with my marketing manager on that" I said OK. Go ahead and check, then let me know. He said he would call me tomorrow. I then get a generic email from him asking if I have any questions about the k900. Just if that $3,000 applies to this "select model". He writes back that no, it doesn't but he can offer $500 off. Very nice Chris. Fortunately I am myself in sales and I know that when you were evasive of my initial question I knew you were just trying to get me into the dealership under false pretenses. It is unfortunate that this happened. Some advise from someone who has had a long successful career in sales. If you are not honest with people, you will not last. If you need to deceive someone to sell a product, you need to find another career. More

The trade-in vehicle ( w I recently traded in a vehicle at McGrath Arlington Kia. I purchased a 2018 Sportage. Salesman Kyle Hendzel was very helpful. The trade-in vehicle ( which was very unreliable) was at school with my daughter. Kyle had offered to drive the new vehicle to IL State Univ. and deliver it to my daughter and drive the trade-in vehicle back. My daughter was able to drive home so his offer was not needed but it was very generous of him to offer. TJ in finance was courteous & very helpful as well. This is the 3rd Kia we have purchased and we are very pleased with it’s performance & reliability. More
