We filed a formal complaint with Kia corporate for "bad business dealings" after our terrible experience here. they treated us like we were dumb and took advantage of us at every turn trying to force bogus extra costs on top of the car price. Dealerships like this give meaning to the term "scummy". If at all possible i would suggest avoiding this dealership at all costs. We will NEVER be back even for a car wash and have and will continue tell everyone i know who's looking for a car to stay away from this dealership. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK...you've been warned. Do not buy a car from them unless you want to deal with unprofessional, rude and people who are truly slimy. They tried to sneak in an extra $1000 to our final purchase price (fortunately we caught it). They add $4k of their services and whatnot to the price you see online. They walk back on any agreements, don’t service cars in the time they set up or agree to - we had to have a few things fixed on a used car we purchased and went to pick it up a few days later at the agreed upon time to find they did NOTHING to fix the car. Only to then speak to rude salespeople and staff. Horrible service. Please take your business and money elsewhere. More

Nothing but frustration I bought a new 2019 Optima in February 2019 and McGrath Alrington Kia was supposed to cancel my contracts on my 2018 Optima because I traded it iin. I bought a new 2019 Optima in February 2019 and McGrath Alrington Kia was supposed to cancel my contracts on my 2018 Optima because I traded it iin. When I went in and sat down with finance, I got copies of the receipts for the money I would get refunded minus the cancellation fees (which were high, please beware before purchasing extra contracts). The refund process was supposed to be started. As of the end of March, no one had contacted me from the dealership. I finally called and called the dealership and left messages, but the calls were not returned. I had to call and wait until someone was available to actually try to get answers. The finance gentleman was not able to help me and referred me back to the other finance gentleman who cancelled the contracts. I began the process of trying to get ahold of this gentleman. Calls were not returned either. I finally was able to get him and he was not able to help me either other than sending a general email to ethos group to alert them of the situation. So once again, I had to call ethos group to get answers that the dealership should have been able to provide. They didn't have the paperwork so now I had to find my paperwork and provide it to ethos group. They handled it and said now that they had all the approproate paperwork, the dealership has the discretion to issue me a check earlier than the date (after the 15th of the month). After the dealership dropping the ball and not following up, I have been emailing them to alert the general manager and owner of their mistake. If they cared about customer service, they would have replied to one of my four emails or called me. One one did. Today, I called Kia Corporation customer service. I explained the situation and they called the dealership. I was told that the first finiance gentleman would be following up on the situation. That was over three hours ago and no one has called. The dealership should overnight a check to me and apologize for their completel lack of customer service. There is no reason they can't fix their mistake and attempt to repair this broken relationship. I will not deal with this dealership again and may get rid of Kia brand altogether. I was a long time customer with friends who also like the product but I let htem know how much Kia cares aobut their customers. Sincerely, Leslie More
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! BEWARE OF HIDDEN COSTS!! I come to McGrath Arlington Kia to buy the car on April 02, 2019. The listing price was $13,900. Chester (salesman), showed me a quote with lots of ad I come to McGrath Arlington Kia to buy the car on April 02, 2019. The listing price was $13,900. Chester (salesman), showed me a quote with lots of additional fees, especially the $848.81 for Processing/Doc fees. The manager (John) came out and explained that this fee included both Doc fee ($179) and the rest in the $848.81 was for "processing". I did not accept this outrageous fee for processing and he agreed to remove this, along with the outrageous protection plan $1,995. In the end, we both agreed on the original advertised price ($13,900), plus doc fee, title transfer, tax, which I thought was just standard fee. The next day after the purchase, I discovered that the price of the vehicle has become $14,302 in my receipt ($402 more than the agreed vehicle price). I come to see Chester and he agreed that the sale price was $13,900, and said that there may be some mistake and he promised he will talk to John (manager) and TJ (finance) to clarify and correct it. The 2nd time I come on an appointment with Chester and John, Jim (another finance guy) come out and said he will take care of my case. Jim repeatedly mentioned that the total price in the receipt was what we agreed on, which was not. How would I come to buy a car on an ad price of $13,900, and end up agreed buying it for $14,302? What is the $402 was for? Jim even said the company can charge whatever fee they want! More

I leased a Kia Sorento from them 8 months ago. Ryan (same salesman who worked with me before) called me unsolicited telling me I could lease a new Telluride for same payment with no cash out of pocket, same mileage and warranty because Kia is going to phase out the Sorento. When I got to the dealer my payment was over $150 more and I would have to pay $3,000 in negative equity. Total scam just to get me in the door. Do not waste your time with this dealer. David Y. More
