Had a great experience at Acura of Libertyville! Eric Leys was great in providing great pricing on both vehicles! Also, got the best value on my Acura trade-in. The evening I took delivery, I couldn't arrive at the dealership until 8:00 PM. Scott stayed past closing time after I wrapped up the paperwork to walk me through my 2012 TL Tech. Overall, a great experience at Acura of Libertyville. More
This was the third Acura dealership in Chicago area I visited in search of a 2011 Acura MDC w/technology package. The first Acura dealership visited, the sales person kept calling me by the wrong name in her emails, even after I corrected her. The second dealership I visited, the salesman was very informative but when it came to talking about the value of my trade in, he was downright nasty. I knew what my trade in was worth, and was willing to take something less than that value, because he was giving me a good price for the MDX, but he basically said take it or leave it, and even stood up while I was talking and wished me well. He "knew" i would be back to take his price. Then I found Acura of Libertyville. I emailed Acura of Libertyville through the Edmunds website, so I knew up front what the true market value was for for the vehicle I wanted in the Chicago area. Luigi, the internet salesman, immediately replied and I told him what i was looking for, the 2011 MDX w/Tech package. He emailed me back asking for a couple of colors I would accept, then called me to verify my choices. He said he would call right back with availability, which he did. He then asked me what price I was looking at. When I mentioned what I was quoted by the other dealership, and that I had received a quote via Auto Trader.com he said he would check with his sales manager and call me right back. 5 minutes later he called and said they would match the price and honor the auto trader.com quote. End of discussion. I went in to the dealership, was met by Luigi and Jerry and in over 30 years of car buying experiences, this was without a doubt, the most painless, most professional buying experience I have ever had. There was a question early on about my credit unions pre-approved loan, but after discussions with Craig, the sales manager, he accepted it, and the entire evolution was flawless. I could go on and talk about Charlie, the business manager, his friendliness, and how he went out of his way to put me at ease, but you get the picture. This is the first time I have gone on one of these sites, to tell a story of how well I was treated at a car dealership, because in all honestly, I have never been treated like this before. If you want to be treated with respect by true professionals who actually care about their customers, go to Acura of Libertyville. I'll wager you won't go anywhere else. More

My TSX purchase was a stress free experience. Andy is very knowledgeable of the vehicles he represents. Both salesmen were very attentive to my needs, and were able to work with me and my restricted time availability. I did not feel pressured into making any big decisions. I made no concrete decisions on my first stop in, as i was generally unsure, i didn't get that standard guilt trip you get from dealerships when you don't move forward with you vehicle of interest. The next morning i was in communication with Craig, as the color i wanted wasn't readily available, he pointed out a few different options, and i ended up going with a color that i hadn't even considered(forged silver), based on his reccomendation. I would reccomend this dealership to anyone consumer who would appreciate down to earth, customer centric, pressure free associates, who are sincere, and whom you can trust. More

Worst experience ever. I walked into this dealership and was immediately judged by my young age (although I could've paid cash for the car-didn't matter to them). Long story short, I went back to negotiate price after debating about the car for 2 weeks. This was my first car purchase, so to me, it was a big and stressful decision. The employee was horribly impatient and rude, I quote, said "I was wasting my time." After that, I was infuriated by him and walked away. They called me the next day and told me they'd lower the price if I came back. After considering the car and setting aside a horrible employee, I went back for one more shot. I was later told I was "badgering" and being difficult. I don't care if I am looking into a new Acura, or a used Chevy, a car sale is a car sale and you work retail. Learn patience! I ended up buying the car ONLY due to the reasonable price and I have told EVERY family member, friend, and coworker (and a number of strangers) about their HORRIBLE customer service. My cousin just spent 90,000 on 2 new acuras from McGrath and loved it there. They could've had his sale if they would've treated me better. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! HOwever, if you must, buy from Craig. Excellent with helping me through this issue. More
