We just bought a used 2010 MDX from Acura of Libertyville in Illinois. Our planned was just going for a test drive and planned on buying within a month, but ended up buying yesterday! He was knowledgeable, considerate and treated us professionally. He answered all of our questions truthfully. He wanted to make sure that our needs and requirement came first. He also told us the differences between similar makers and models which we were thinking of test driving first before we decide on buying. He offered to top or match our pre approved rate and gave us a free oil change. He spent the time introducing the great feature of MDX and how to use them to us. Thanks James Won! We would definitely recommend you to my family and friends on their future purchases and this dealer, Acura of Libertyville. More

My husband and I recently traveled from St. Louis to Chicago to purchase a 2010 TSX. Before we left, we had a purchase agreement signed by both us and the dealership (we agreed upon a price, terms etc. Chicago to purchase a 2010 TSX. Before we left, we had a purchase agreement signed by both us and the dealership (we agreed upon a price, terms etc.) My husband and I went up with a check from Bank of America for the agreed upon price. Upon arrival, we drove the car, went to sign additional papers and then we were informed by the finance manager that "we had to use their third party licensing company so they were not on the hook for the taxes." We were then showed a new agreemend that added another 2,000 to the price of the car WHICH WAS NOT IN THE SIGNED PURCHASE AGREEMENT we were given in the first place. Somehow it would have been differnt if we had a personal check. We explained to them, we cannot use a third party to have our vehicle licensed. They also told us we would get our plates in the mail....So after spending $500+ just to get to Chicago to get the car we left with no car. To make matters worse, when we asked for our $1000 refundable deposit, they stated they could not do it then because their cashier left, however, when we demanded we receive our money back before we left they were magically able to refund the money and still tried to get us to change our minds. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. Each person we dealt with was very rude besides Scott. I believe he honestly did not know this was going to happen. However, do not ever trust anyone when they say a thrid party will license your car. This is only a way for them to get more money out of you. The finance manager was one of the nastiest people I have ever dealt with. There is so much more that could be said about this horrible experience. You do not agree to the price of the car, terms etc, have us travel to get it and then when we get there WITH A CHECK IN HAND change the terms. We had an agreement and they broke it. As far as doing anything to rectify the situation, nothing was done. As I said it was a struggle to get our refundable deposit back!!! I wouldn't take a car from them if it was free at this point. I wouldn't be able to trust them. Oh AND they also acted like it was a problem when I wanted MY license plates off the car! More
Customer services was the best overall experience. Shelly was very helpful and friendly when I brought my car back in for serveice. Mr. Hartmann was personable, friendly, and when it became time to deal he was willing to negotiate an acceptable price. He even offered to remove the old license plates and transfer them to the new used vehi time to deal he was willing to negotiate an acceptable price. He even offered to remove the old license plates and transfer them to the new used vehicle in addition to offering to remove the portable transportation carrier on the roof of the Acura purchased station wagon. These folks know how to deal with customers. More
