The car business has come a long way since the bad old days of high pressure flimflam dealers. Our recent experience with Ocean Subaru shows them to be at the leading edge of all that progress. We had been in the market for a couple of weeks and narrowed our search to the AWD 2012 Subaru Legacy. Our contact with a few dealerships had been positive (with one exception...a dealer who represented a lot of the bad side of "old school" car selling strategies...). As soon as Cheryl Pierro greeted us in the Ocean Subaru showroom, our experience was first-class. Her focus from the outset was on our needs and how Ocean Subaru and the Subaru line could help us meet those needs. When we decided on our vehicle preference, she immediately located the right car at Ocean's sister dealership in Manchester, NH. We moved on to a discussion of pricing and financing options. That conversation brought General Manager Mark Galante into the picture. (All of the conversations took place in the low-pressure environment of Ocean's showroom/customer service area. None of the old "I'll have to talk to my manager" nonsense. Everyone shares a common space in the sales area, with no "man behind the curtain" charade.) We got to agreement on pricing and terms very quickly, after professional, cordial, adult conversation. Ocean's pricing was very favorable, but it was the quality of the purchasing experience that really set Ocean apart. We finally determined that a 2013 Legacy was the right vehicle for us. The delivery process was also outstanding: Finance Manager Skip Leclerc was helpful at every phase of the process (who knew a car finance guy could be so professional...and funny?). Cheryl explained every feature of our new Legacy with the enthusiasm and knowledge you could expect at a Benz delivery. Everyone at Ocean appears to live and breathe Subaru! We recommend Ocean Subaru very strongly. (PS: it doesn't hurt that a test drive can include an outstanding view of the Gulf of Maine and the Isles of Shoals! Kudos to Cheryl, Mark, Skip, Ben, Lynn...and everyone else who made our Subaru buying experience so positive. More

I was very pleased with the my purchase. Not once did I feel like I was being scammed or tricked into extra costs or products. I felt confident in the work I was doing with the team at Ocean Subaru. I give this dealership 10 out of 10!!! SO EASY to buy a car. i went to 3 other dealerships and they were rude and pushy!
