Arrived on the lot about 4:45p.m. Sunday night. Looked around and picked out a couple vehichles I would like to look at. Hubby went inside and realized they were closing. He told Laura we would come back in the morning she said oh no it is fine I will show you the cars. She Let me explore the 2 I wanted to look at. She offered me to drive them. Me knowing they were technically closed I refused the test drive with the promise to come back in the a.m. They were so accomidating let all of us get drinks and what have you. We got Laura's card. And I think to her surprise in we walked at about 9:10 am Monday Memorial Day. She was happy and I was exstatic with excitement. I test drove a used 2011 Outback. The test drive lasted about 5 minutes when I realized I was in love and couldnt even imagine not taking home that day. We had to be out of there by 12:30 to go walk in a Memorial parade and picnic. We walked out of Ocean Subaru at about 12:55 made it to the parade in time and I have a new car I love. Have never boughten a car in 4 hours. Amazing! Will continue to refer Ocean Subaru and we are live long customers. Now....... here's the best part. They were very commidating towards my children YAY!!!!!!!! More
I SAW A CAR ONLINE AND WENT IN TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT, I MADE MY DECISION AND DECIDED TO BUY THE CAR. I HAD A CAR TO TRADE IN AND THE REMAING AMOUNT I WOULD SPLIT PART FINANCE AND CASH. EVERYTHING WAS LOOKI MADE MY DECISION AND DECIDED TO BUY THE CAR. I HAD A CAR TO TRADE IN AND THE REMAING AMOUNT I WOULD SPLIT PART FINANCE AND CASH. EVERYTHING WAS LOOKING GREAT UNTIL THE DAY OF THE PICK UP A MAN NAMED STUART WAS VERY UNORGANIZED WITH THE NUMBERS HE WAS GIVING ME OVER THE PHONE, THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN HIM AND OTHER CO-WORKERS WAS VERY POOR. FIRST OF ALL MY CREDIT WAS PULLED WITH OUT MY SAY SO, STUART SAID HE PULLED THE CREDIT BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T PASS ON THE MESSAGE THAT I HAD SAID NO I WASN'T SURE ABOUT PURCHASING YET. ON THE DAY OF PICK UP I CALLED TO MAKE SURE I HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED FOR A SMOOTH SALE AND STUART WAS CONFUSED WITH THE NUMBERS AGAIN AND ALL OF A SUDDEN PANICKED AND JUST TOLD ME TO FORGET THE SALE...I WAS VERY CONFUSED BECAUSE EVERYTHING WAS SET AND GOOD TO GO. INSTEAD OF TAKING A MINUTE AND LOOKING OVER HIS NOTES AND CALLING ME BACK HE JUST DECIDED TO CANCEL THE WHOLE THING. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER CARS OUT THERE MAYBE THIS ONE WAS NOT THE ONE FOR ME, BUT THAT WAS NOT THE WAY OF A SALESMAN TO HANDLE THE SITUATION, HIS LOSS! More

Cheryl was extremely knowledgeable about any questions we had and was a pleasure dealing with her. Stuart went above and beyond any other sales manager we dealt with and gave us a price we could not resist. The entire staff at Ocean Subaru make it a point to say that they are a no pressure and feel that the Subaru is a car that can sell itself. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is interested in looking to buy a new car. More
This is my third Subaru, but this time I decided to look at other cars/dealers. I found that not only do I still want to own a Subaru as the CrossTrek is sporty and the perfect size, but Cheryl Pierro was at other cars/dealers. I am personally a Jeep person, so when I saw a lightly used one on their lot I insisted making the hour drive to check it out. Low pressure, easy going and for the most part fabulous attitude all around. My mom came with me to make the final purchase (I'm 23, thus my family wanted to make sure I wasn't being taken advantage of) and was so impressed that she plans to purchase her next vehicle there if the same staff resides. I just bought a brand new 2013 XV Crosstrek and could not have had a better experience. This dealership is 'no pressure' and does not succumb to the ways of haggling/pressure, like most other car dealership have had a better experience. I have high expectations for pretty much everything in my life, but I had to give 5's across the board for my experience at Ocean Subaru. I went in on my first visit just to collect some information about life, but I had to give 5's across the board for my experience at Ocean Subaru. I went in on my first visit just to collect some information about Crosstreks and maybe Outbacks and ended up walking away finalizing my purchase of a Crosstrek Limited. Cheryl Pierro was with us from the start. There was no high pressure sales tactics, just good, honest conversation about what I was there to do and any questions I had. We chatted about Outbacks and instantly realized it was too much car for me, too which Cheryl picked up on and walked me over to the Crosstrek, what I was most interested in anyway. After sitting in and driving one, I was confident the Crosstrek was the car for me. It's a solid crossover that comes fully loaded and more than enough room with what I need. We were able to find the color, (tangerine) and limited model with all the toys I was interested in. After fairly short negotiations, I was more than happy with the number that was given and then discussed and I signed that day, receiving my car two days later. Upon first drive, I was happy to find out I made the right choice. All the additions I added, splash guards, all-weather floor mats, all-weather trunk and fold down seat protectors and the tweeter pack, were a good buy. The black leather interior with black rims and the tangerine color look really sleek and cool. It handles better than any card I've owned and has enough power for me, although I could see other heavy-footed drivers finding a complaint. Overall I was really glad the car I was interested in based on online research ended up being the car I loved and purchased. Cheryl made the experience painless and fun. She was honestly happy for me when I got in my car for the first time and answered any questions I could have asked before I had the chance to ask them. Anyone looking for or researching Subarus should stop in and poke around for sure. More
My husband and I took a drive up to Ocean Subaru to test drive an Outback. Ocean had been recommended to us by a friend. We really were not planning on buying a car that day. I walked in and explained that we were here for a test drive (scheduled) but we had our dog with us (Jack Russell Terrier) so we would have to take separate test drives. Cheryl said the dog (Ernie) was welcome inside and could take the drive with us. We were thrilled as now we could go together, talk about the car and really get a feel for it. Needless to say we fell in love with the car, and came home with it that day. The purchase was a breeze, the people are genuine and helpful. No "corporate feel" here, no bad suits and fruit flavored gum. The price they gave us was great, the trade-in value of our other car was fair. They quoted us a very good financing rate, but in the end surprised us with a lower rate. They deserve 5 stars in every category, they've earned it. It was the most comfortable car buying experience we have ever had. More

The car had some issues (Typical VW defects) under 10,000 miles - but even though they aren't a VW dealer - they asked absolutely no questions to take care of the issues. On top of it, they drove over 50 miles to pick the car up at my work and drop it back off when finished. (Thanks Stewart!) It couldn't be any better! The experience at VW was horrifying, these guys made the pain go away. Definetley reccomend. More
This was my first "painless" new car purchase in 50 years. My wife and I decided to stop, after having lunch in Portsmouth, just to pick up a brochure on the new Crosstrek. We then met Cheryl Pie in 50 years. My wife and I decided to stop, after having lunch in Portsmouth, just to pick up a brochure on the new Crosstrek. We then met Cheryl Pierro for the first time and have to say that because of her, we were sold on this dealership on the very first visit. I took a week trying overnight test drives on various models and decided on what we were interested originally, the Crosstrek Limited. I had no problems with Cheryl's first offer on the Crosstrek and had no problems with Mark Galante's first offer on our trade (2010 Imprezza sedan). Unbelievable easy and trouble free car shopping. I have to admit that with the internet, we requested quotes from five other Subaru dealers and the results reinforced what we had already experienced at Ocean Subaru. We never even went to another dealership, even though we have one 3 miles from us and Ocean is 22 miles away. To feel comfortable at a car dealership is to us, priceless, and that is the impression we left with after working with the crew at Ocean Subaru, especially Cheryl Pierro.
