My wife and I purchased a Kia Telluride from this dealership in late 2023. We initially thought it was a positive experience, but that changed at the end. The staff and management were overly pushy dealership in late 2023. We initially thought it was a positive experience, but that changed at the end. The staff and management were overly pushy when asking for us to leave them 5-star reviews. They insisted multiple times that anything less would impact the bonuses that the sales person would receive. ... We would have been glad to write a positive review, but then we learned that Kia Connect is not available for our vehicle in MA, because the KIA dealers are using it as leverage against the right-to-repair bill. This was never disclosed to us during the purchase, and we only discovered it when we tried to register for the service after buying the vehicle. There are a lot of features that are a part of Kia Connect, that we were interested in, and there was no price adjustment for not having this feature available. We could have easily gone to RI and paid the same price for a vehicle with these features. ... That is not the only reason for this review. As part of our transaction we also purchased a service contract. The first time we returned for scheduled maintenance we had to wait over 2 hours because the service department needed to wait for someone from the finance department to confirm we had the service contract. ... Later we received a notice from Kia about the need to complete a software update in the vehicle. When trying to call this dealership it was nearly impossible to reach the service department on the phone. After several calls, we finally found someone who was helpful and connected us with the service department to schedule an appointment. The morning my wife arrived at the dealership, there are no directions on what to do when coming in for service. She waiting patiently in her car at the service bay only to later learn that people behind her had gotten out of their vehicles, walked into the service bay and were now ahead of her. Even though she had a scheduled appointment she was made to "wait her turn". Then only to find out that the dealership's system for making the software upgrade was down without any ability to provide an estimate for how long the appointment might take. My wife with two daughters in kindergarten and preschool was made to wait without any idea if she would be able to leave in time to pick up her kids. ... If you buy from this dealership, do not let them pressure you into giving a 5-star review until you are sure that you received everything that you thought you were getting. ... As far as service, I would suggest finding another dealership. More
