We purchased a 2020 Kia Telluride back in 2019. They pushed and praised their warranty to the point that I agreed to buy new instead of a used SUV. I knew that when I needed it (even told the sales They pushed and praised their warranty to the point that I agreed to buy new instead of a used SUV. I knew that when I needed it (even told the sales person),things would not be bumper to bumper like they pushed. The bumper to bumper lifetime warranty hasn't covered 1 problem that we have had with the car. Today my wife took the car for a caliper issue that we are having with a car that has 21K miles on it. they claim the caliper which is a main component to the braking system, they say it falls under wear and tear parts like the rotors and brake pads. I should not have to be replacing a caliper to a car that only has 21K miles on it. What they are telling me is that the Kia Telluride is not a dependable SUV. For the amount of miles and the year.. the car ha less than 21K miles, because we do not use it much. This means normal use such as 10k to 20k miles per year, you can expect to due calipers in 1 to 2 years. This warranty did not cover a bad tire that was installed when we purchased the car from them, that although I did not agree, I accepted. they should have replaced that tire , no way they selling a new car with a bad tire. We had to pay to replace a brand new tire, because it didn't fall under the warranty due to it is a wear and tear part. Like I told the sales person when I purchased the car, this warranty means nothing to me because they will find an excuse each time I go to use it... and it sure has been that way each time. Not 1 issue has fallen under that warranty, yet. I will copy this review and the next time they go to sell me a warranty, I will walk out on the deal. You will never convince me to purchase a car due to the warranty or even use the fact that a car has some type of warranty when its being sold to me. I told them I had plenty of friends who will do the mechanical work if I needed them to. They kept pushing how good it is to have the warranty. Making the sales people job harder. Never again! More
