Nadinel, We use factory parts and have factory-certified technicians, which is reflected in our pricing. I’m honestly not sure how a full brake job could be done for $250 for all four brakes—typically, that would only be possible using non-OEM parts and lower-cost materials. Thank you for your response. I understand that dealerships often use OEM parts and certified technicians, which can affect pricing. However, the issue was not simply the difference between OEM and non-OEM parts. After receiving your quote, I sought a second opinion from another mechanic. They inspected the brakes and determined that much of the work I was told was needed was unnecessary. For example, I was told the rotors needed to be cut, but upon inspection they were in good condition and not metal-on-metal. The only work required was the brake replacement, which is why the cost was significantly lower. My concern is that I was quoted for work that did not actually need to be performed. I believe it is important for customers to receive accurate assessments so they can make informed decisions about their vehicle repairs.
