Thanks for sharing your experience. This situation is a little bit of a grey area because while the models and trim levels were the same, Hyundai for some reason didn’t make cruise control available in the new model. You would have had to have purchased an automatic. I can assure you that this wasn’t done with any bad intentions. Enjoy the new vehicle! We’re here if you need us.

There is no grey area. I wanted the automatic but I could not afford the payment. I was ready to walk. The manager told me he could get me into exactly the same car with the exception of a new body style. I asked if it would have the touch screen (my old car did not but I really liked that feature), they said no but all of the other features would be the same as my 2014 Elentre SE. They knew that I commuted 2 hours a day and that was the primary use of the car. Would an ethical dealership sell me that car? I wonder. It will be years before I can afford a new car with cruise control. It is awful trying to commute in that thing! I am annoyed everyday and I deeply regret buying it.
