Went through hoops to get me the price and payment I could afford and made sure all the paperwork was taken care of so all I had to do was drive my new car away and enjoy the ride. I didn't have to wait at the RMV for anything. I would highly recommend you go see Roy Mitchell if you are looking for a honest car salesman! He will not disappoint you. The dealership was also very friendly and accommodating. More

Adam explained that Brendan Grier would be working with us. I was very happy with the professionalism that Brendan portrayed, he explained everything to us. He went over everything and worked hard to get me in to the vehicle I wanted. I was very nervous but he made my fear go away. I would definitely recommend RT2 HYUNDAI to everyone I know who is looking for a car. Thank you very much for working with me/us Rebecca and Scott. More
My wife and I were out for a ride last Saturday and stopped by route 2 JUST to look Johnny C came out and we were chatting and next thing we new we were buying a new car ( this is a good thing it is ou stopped by route 2 JUST to look Johnny C came out and we were chatting and next thing we new we were buying a new car ( this is a good thing it is our fifth hyundai we have bought from the dealership. I just want to point out that we live in uxbridge mass on the Rhode Island boarder we are in between herb chambers hyundai and first hyundai we choose to drive 1 hr to route 2 because of the way we are treated . The sales people ( especially Johnny C ) are by far the best , service parts everything about the dealership is great I would recommend them to anybody. Thanks again Ray and Grace More

I got a new car. Great! However, Route 2 Hyundai is the same as every other dealership. I called ahead with credit issues. I was hoping to have something worked out prior to arrival. I was told I was ap same as every other dealership. I called ahead with credit issues. I was hoping to have something worked out prior to arrival. I was told I was approved after giving my information over the phone. I was told to ask for a specific person. Upon entering the lot I was greeted quickly with warmth and friendliness. However, none I what I was told was true. They refused to get me the person I asked for. Took ten minutes of arguing to get a chance to meet that person. I was feeling vulnerable. I was lied to about being approved. I had to go over the same questions again re-experiencing my shame. I was truly hoping to avoid this. In the end I did get a great new car. I tried explaining to Jason Glenn several times that I was beyond the what car would you like to buy today. I was at the point of show me what I can buy. There was no flexibility in the sales routine. Unless I wanted to sit through the first time buyer approach of being fit into a peg hole. I was taught a very long time ago to mirror customers personalities when meeting them and trying to understand their needs. I found nothing but the same one track effort. It would have made the sale more seamless had the sales person had more training. We were both getting mad. The sale almost did not happen. Jason and I did eventually work things out. I am glad we did. My need for a new car was much greater than my ability to with stand the same old car sales game. I did leave one sales center earlier that day for the exact same reason. There is more to a sale than "If I can do these 4 things will you buy here today?" qualifier. Training, training, training... I waited three weeks before getting a follow up call from Jason. He left a message asking me to remember to "Rate his performance, then asked if everything was Ok ? with my car. I would again say.... Training, training, training. He did not ask me first how things are? He did not ask for a REFERRAL either the day of the sale or in his message. I will also say, I was tired, frustrated, grouchy, and in dire need of stability. Jason saw me through and made sure I went home with a quality vehicle. I am grateful for the car, the financing, and reliability of the Route 2 Hyundai dealership. This is the 5th total new car sale to my family. First for me. I would send friends and family there if asked. If Jason called and asked for a REFERRAL for another buyer, I would welcome it. We walked in with low expectations, and not only did we get approved, but we drove out that day with the car we wanted. I remember a dealership telling me this is the only thing you can get, something that I didn't even want. This was a totally different experience and I am in love with my veloster!!! More
It has taken me a long time to write and submit this review mostly because I didn't want to sound like an advertisement because I can't say one single negative thing about the Rte 2 Hyundai team. I was recommended to them by a friend about 6 years ago, and since then I have purchased 3 vehicles and have sent family and friends there as well. Hyundai makes a great car. Personally I am on my third Sonata, all were bought here. But what really makes me come back each time is that I know the car buying experience will be a pleasant one. Brian Smith has been my sales representative every time I have shopped at Rte 2 Hyundai however, I was remembered by many staff members. Rte 2 Hyundai works as a team and it is apparent from the second you walk in. You don't see sales men fighting to get to you attempting to look nonchalant, you aren't followed or harassed, and as a woman I am taken seriously and always treated with courtesy and respect. While Brian was working on the paperwork Mikey and Johnny came over to see if I needed anything and to ask if I was happy. This has never happened to me, or to anyone I know at a dealership before. For associates to come over and ask if I am happy. This may seem like something small but their genuine concern to make sure I was 100% happy with the car, the service, the deal, the payments, etc is a major sticking point with me and one of the many reasons I keep coming back even though I haven't won the raffles or certain promotions that they have - and to the winners good for them - but I am checked in on and thanked profusely for being a customer at Rte 2 Hyundai and not just another unassuming victim in the clutches of an evil car dealer. Brian as I stated has always been the sales man that I have worked with. He is funny, polite, insanely knowledgeable about all of Hyundai's products and most importantly he is honest. He has never tried to push me into a deal that I was uncomfortable with, instead he will go over all of my options with me candidly taking time to answer my questions and being patient while I make a decision. I never leave the dealership thinking "oh I wish I asked that" or "GOD I couldn't wait to get out of there!" I feel like a part of the team while I am there. Brian and the other sales members talk to me, not just about buying cars, but they try to get to know me as a person. And next year when I come in to buy a new car, they remember me, they remember my interests and best of all the service, friendliness and courtesy is still there always at 100% Mikey rocks! There really is no doubt about it. Often managers get a bad wrap - they are portrayed as greedy little gremlins sitting at their desk working numbers in a way to confuse people so you sell your soul while thinking you got a good deal. This is not the case with Mikey. First - he doesn't resemble a troll at all. He will come right over to you and talk to you about your options. He will try to get you into the car you want, the cheapest way possible (if possible of course). On my most recent visit to Rte 2 Hyundai my finances were less than perfect and I was not certain that I would be able to purchase a new vehicle even though I was desperate after totaling my last in an accident during a terrible snow storm. Mikey made it happen. How I am not sure but in my eyes he is a miracle worker and for whatever he did I am eternally grateful. He is fast, efficient, kind and humble...and ladies, he's easy on the eyes too! Finally there are Kevin and Peter - these are the paper people. The ones that take the high away from buying a new car - they do the loans and set up the paperwork for you to sign your life away. But it isn't that bad at all. With most dealerships I feel I need a panel of attorneys to come with me to review all the paperwork I need to sign to finalize the car purchase. With Kevin and Peter, I trust them and they are incredibly knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any and every finance question you may have. They put each document in front of you going over the pertinent points of each with complete transparency making sure you understand what you are signing before it is signed. They are also there later if you have questions about the bank you have financed with, or have trouble setting up online payments, or anything really. Bottom line, nothing is hidden here, they don't bury costs or sell you things without your knowledge and they make sure you have copies of everything you need which completes the car buying process. Aside from purchasing the vehicles at Rte 2 Hyundai, I have also used their service department. The service team is wonderful too - I never get into my car after they have worked on it with grease stains on my seats or the smell of burned oil. I am treated with respect and again whoever is servicing my vehicle takes the time to go over everything with me whether it just be making sure I understand the scheduled maintenance that needs to be performed at certain intervals or if I am having something repaired, they make sure it gets done right and with as little inconvenience as possible. With all of my Hyundais I have never needed anything other than routine maintenance on my vehicles to make them get up and go. Being a routine customer I receive coupons in the mail as well which come in handy for oil changes, etc. If you do need major repairs the waiting area is very comfortable and you don't have to worry about a mechanic draining your bank account for unnecessary items and as a poor college student I am very thankful for that. As I said - I didn't want to sound like an advertisement. I never thought I would be this thrilled with a dealer. I have purchased new and used through them and I have never been disappointed. My friends and family have also been impressed with the level of service they receive as well. You aren't going to be bullied into a purchase and you will be cherished as a customer. They value customer loyalty and it shows through their genuine actions and concern for your happiness. I even received cards after each purchase thanking me and inviting me to call with any questions or concerns. I know I can call Bryan at any time and ask about anything and he will treat me the way he always has, just as everyone at Rte 2 Hyundai does. I am a happy Rte 2 Hyundai customer and I plan to purchase all of my future vehicles there as well too. More
I went to rt 2 Hyundai because I had less than stellar credit. It didn't make a difference to them, Jermaine was more than helpful both times I went in. I had been denied loans for months and months. He and the finance department did work to get me approved. They helped me aquire a brand new Elantra and they gave me a chance to improve my credit. I would recommend friends to them. They were patient and understanding in a business you don't find much of that in. More
