These guys were over the top helpful and great with which to deal. We purchased the car via phone and email from CA. Al dropped the car off for my fiance` at her hotel the day she arrived in town. The entire to deal. We purchased the car via phone and email from CA. Al dropped the car off for my fiance` at her hotel the day she arrived in town. The entire process was informative, friendly and no haggle - but that is because their pricing is VERY competitive. We shipped around the entire country for the best deal for us and ended-up right in the town we needed it to be to save on shipping costs, as we moved from CA to Boston this week. I will recommened Honda Cars of Boston to all that are looking for a Honda, regardless of their location. More
My wife and I were looking for a new car after the death of our 2000 Jeep. We wanted an economical car that we could share with our 110 pound dog, carry groceries and get me to work. I have had 4 Hondas in of our 2000 Jeep. We wanted an economical car that we could share with our 110 pound dog, carry groceries and get me to work. I have had 4 Hondas in the past, 1 Accord and 3 S2000s and have always been very happy with quality, performance, reliability of the cars. Nevertheless we always approach the experience of car shopping with trepidation. Looking online for dealerships in Boston I saw Honda Cars of Boston and contacted them by email with a query about the CR-V. I was contacted by Rob who arranged an appointment. When we arrived we were greeted by Rob who was very personable and helpful. He showed us the CR-V in the showroom and answered questions. Rob introduced us to Carlo who gave us a detailed tour of the car and took us on a test drive. He was very courteous, and above all, very honest in answering questions. He never used any "hard sell" tactics and was clear and forthcoming with information. We never felt pressured or confused. The purchase was handled smoothly and efficiently. John took care of the financing in a very friendly, efficient way. As we sat at Carlo's desk and saw the many sales awards we commented that we could see why he'd won them. He's an excellent salesman. Rob, Carlo and John made us feel we'd made friends. We'll definitly return to HCB for service and will send friends there for new car purchases. All in all, a great experience. I love my new Honda! More
I bought a 2005 Acura TSX. I found it online thru one of the car searches, what I recall to be Autotrader. I called to inquire about the car and spoke with Rob, who was very courteous. Honda Cars happens the car searches, what I recall to be Autotrader. I called to inquire about the car and spoke with Rob, who was very courteous. Honda Cars happens to be quite a haul for me to get to, so I asked Rob to describe the condition of the car, which from the pictures appeared to be in great shape. I explained that I was far away and that I would be extremely upset if I came into the dealership to find a car that wasn't as it was described. Needless to say, Rob did an excellent job of describing the car and it's condition. I was very happy with what I saw, though when I drove it it pulled slightly. Not surprising considering the potholes in Boston in the winter. I agreed to buy the car on the condition it was aligned before I pick it up. Rob and crew took car of everything, from the detailing of the car to the financing. They found me a great rate after a little prodding. My wife and I picked up the car the next day, to her surprise – she didn’t know I bought it, and I let her drive the car back to Sutton. The following day, when I drove the car to work, I noticed it was still pulling. I immediately called the dealership and told them what was going on. They must not have aligned the car as agreed. It likely slipped thru the cracks. They offered to have the car aligned locally to me and then reimburse the cost. I submitted the receipt and a week later received a check. Excellent. Rob was very honest, straightforward, and a pleasure to work with. I'd certainly consider buying a car from Rob again. More

Frie Me and my wife bought new Honda Fit from Honda Cars of Boston. I heard that this Honda dealership has the most loyal customers. I an 100% agree. Friendly sales people, great atmosphere, big choice. Some people might think that cars there little overpriced, but... if you go to Herb you will get the same car for less, but they will screw you with bunch hidden fees, charges, and other tricks. Anyway, I was glad to see the same sales people on TV commercial later. I wish Honda Cars of Boston the best. More
Honda Cars of Boston was a great experience! I was contacted through cars.com and I have to say that our experience was excellent from the very first contact. We dealth with Rob exclusively through e contacted through cars.com and I have to say that our experience was excellent from the very first contact. We dealth with Rob exclusively through email in discussing our options and negotiating a price. I felt that Rob really knew how the industry works and would be honest with me almost to a fault (even telling me that if another dealership gave me an offer a certain price to take that offer over Honda Cars of Boston). He also assisted me in researching a good and fair price, and so when we finally went down to the office, we had the price all set up, no haggling or further negotiating. Al was very knowledgeable about the Honda Odyssey we bought and spent a lot of time going over all the features. When it came time to actually settle on the price, he honored our agreement and didn't haggle or try to negotiate further. I couldn't be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Honda Cars of Boston to family and friends and anyone purchasing a Honda! More
In doing research to purchase a new Honda Fit, I was working with two dealerships - Herb Chambers in Burlington, MA and Honda Cars of Boston in Everett, MA. I first contacted Honda Cars of Boston via t working with two dealerships - Herb Chambers in Burlington, MA and Honda Cars of Boston in Everett, MA. I first contacted Honda Cars of Boston via the internet to which I received an immediate reply from Rob. He and I corresponded over the course of a week and it was clear that a key variable would be the value of my current automobile. Rob was also extremely helpful in discussing sales strategies and red flags to look out for in the purchase process. Armed with informtaion, I put together a spreadsheet to compare dealership offers and I went to each dealer. Herb Chambers had a slightly higher "invoice" price but they offered me $8500 more on the trade in. I then went to Honda Cars of Boston and met Rob in-person, a very nice gentleman. He had one of the sales consultants work with me - we took a test drive and put the Fit through its paces. Back at the showroom, we went back and forth a few times, but their assessment of the trade-in value was only $7500. There were no high pressure tactics used and all in all it was actually a pleasant experience. In discussing the deal with Rob - I probably shouldn't write this, but he actually told me that if price was my only criteria, the $8500 that the other dealership was offering on the trade, Honda Cars of Boston wouldn't be able to match. Who in the car business ever does that? I ended up purchasing the car from Herb Chambers (not without a few hiccups) but as I get farther away from the heat of the moment, I realize that if I had to do the transaction over, I whould have gone with Rob and his team. There would have been a few hundred dollars difference, but I would feel better about the purchase. I really liked the guys at Honda Cars of Boston. The internet service was great - I was able to do alot of research and negotiating before ever setting foot in a dealership and the tips that Rob gave me were helpful in negotiating. I would highly recommend Rob and his team. More
customer service is poor. very degrading towards women. customer service is poor. very degrading towards women. they lie and are very condescending. they treat you like your an idiot. never give them a customer service is poor. very degrading towards women. they lie and are very condescending. they treat you like your an idiot. never give them a deposit because they will try not to give it back. they hang up on you when you call. if your no longer interested in a vehicle they tell you too bad it's already a done deal and there is nothing you can do about it. I will NEVER go back there and will tell everyone never to go there! More
This is the second time I bought a car from Honda Cars of Boston, and both have been excellent experiences. I moved to Boston last year, and knew no one in the area, but was very comfortable in the online ca Boston, and both have been excellent experiences. I moved to Boston last year, and knew no one in the area, but was very comfortable in the online car buying process, ever since I bought my first car online back in 1999. I did a thorough search, and immediately found that Honda Cars of Boston had the best website in terms of web-page design, ease-of-use, and had the most extensive stock information. This kind of transparency told me that this was the real deal. I found the car that I liked and arranged a test drive. In a way I like to think that I'm a savvy buyer, especially when the car that I was planning to see was already sold by the time I got to there. It happened not once, but twice! The fact that I kept coming back for the third time showed the quality of the people at Honda Cars, especially Rob. They treated me with respect, apologized for the inconvenience, and went above and beyond what's expected to get me a better deal. It's not entirely their fault, because I couldn't come the same day I found the cars, and the ones I chose were already a very good deal that someone else would've snapped them up immediately. Anyway the third time was the charm, because Rob found a 5-month Civic Coupe with 1,600 miles for $4,000 less than its new MSRP price. But of course that wasn't the price I paid because we negotiated some more ;) Long story short, I enjoyed my used Civic Coupe very much until I got an email a few weeks ago asking if I'm interested in trading my car at 120% of kbb price. I wasn't planning on getting a new car, but this was a deal that's just to sweet to pass. It was a pleasant experience coming back to the dealer, and met Rob, Mike, Al, and Malcolm again. As usual the whole experience was painless, and I found a new Civix LX that I really liked. Did I walk away that day with the new car? Nope. I went home empty handed because we couldn't agree on the price. But that's not the end of the story. Rob called me a few days later, we negotiated a bit more, and finally agreed on a price. I thought they were very friendly, treated me with respect, and the price was fair. And most importantly, all through the process I feel that they were being honest. With all the information that's available on the internet, incl. the base price that Honda 'sells' to their dealers, you know a mile away if someone is being less than truthful to you. So here's my two thumbs up for Rob and his team at Honda Cars of Boston! More
I used Kelly Blue Book Online to contact 5 Boston area Honda dealers for prices on a 2009 Basic Fit automatic. All the dealer prices were quite close but the attitudes - perceived honesty, straight for Honda dealers for prices on a 2009 Basic Fit automatic. All the dealer prices were quite close but the attitudes - perceived honesty, straight forwardness, sales pressure - of 3 out of the 5 dealers ranged from miserable to contemptible. The 4th assured me they had a 2009 Basic automatic I could test drive. I went there - they didn’t have this model. The 5th dealer was Honda Cars of Boston. What a difference! Rob Giovannucci, the online sales person, listened to me, was informed, informative and pleasant - no car-dealer sales pressure. He sent me a detailed quote. At the showroom Ric Ploof took over. Again informed, informative and pleasant. He had a Basic automatic waiting for me to test drive. Obviously people at Honda Cars of Boston talk to each other! Ric went though the transaction exactly according to Rob’s quote. No surprises, no pressure to take any add-ons I didn’t want. Dean Tally then took care of the financial paper work - again no surprises no hassle. All the people I dealt with at Honda Cars of Boston were courteous, informed and straight forward. I recommend this dealership without reservation. More
