Old fashioned values not found in today's society I've been thinking about buying a Jeep for a while. I decided to pull the trigger this weekend, and started researching dealers in the Boston area. I was shocked at the bad reviews most dealers got, especially for service. This dealership had 5's across the board, so I though some of the reviews must be bogus. nevertheless, I decided to fire off an email to the sales contact listed on their website. I was very specific in what I wanted- instead of a form email (which I got from several other dealers) I received a short, courteous reply from Lou who simply wanted to know what he could do to help. We exchanged a few emails and then I drove up to the dealership. After an hour, we had a deal done. The process was smooth, Lou is extremely likeable and everyone at the dealership was friendly. My understanding is the owner is a former mechanic and truly understands what customer service is about. I've run companies, and it always amazes me when CEO's think they can be successful without awesome customer service. It's the foundation element of a good company.
