I drive by McGee Toyota about four times a week and so about 2 weeks ago I decided to stop in and see what they have for used Rav-4's. I wasn't dead set on making a deal that very day but, I found a 2008 about 2 weeks ago I decided to stop in and see what they have for used Rav-4's. I wasn't dead set on making a deal that very day but, I found a 2008 Rav4 that I really liked so I pulled the triggerand made the deal. I got what I believe to be a great deal. They gave me "Kelly Blue Book" value for my trade which was a 2003 Nissan Altima, and they gave me a decent discount on the Rav4 and not to mention an interest rate that was very close to what my credit union was offering. So over all I had a very good experience at McGee Toyota. More
I had a pleasant experience at McGee Toyota. I went in to test-drive a 2008 Toyota Tundra and Ahmed Ragab was very helpful and knowledgeable about the truck. After the test-drive there was a short discussion about price and warranties. I eventually purchased the truck and spoke with the finance manager, Jim. Jim was very helpful and I picked up the truck on Monday evening. Ahmed was very quick with the paperwork turnaround and very efficient in acquiring the plates from the registry. I would recommend this dealership because the process was fairly painless. More
My wife and I just bought our new 2010 Prius from McGee. This was the best car purchase experience we have ever had. The sales associate, Steve Lavanchy, Max the Sales Manager, you, the receptionist, other sales staff not directly involved in our purchase, the Service staff and especially, Scott Ames in Finance, were all great to do business with. Scott especially, went out of his way to reconnect our Guidepoint system and got us a rebate on our old Platinum Extended Service agreement. Unfortunately, while we would love to have our new Prius serviced by you folks, we probably won't be able to because of the distance we would have to travel. Again, we had a great experience (as much as one can when buying a car) and wanted thank you, Scott and the rest of the staff. More
I highly recommend this dealership! I have read some of the other reviews on here, and am sorry that some of you did not have the great experience I had. I was researching Toyota Highlanders for a while, u the other reviews on here, and am sorry that some of you did not have the great experience I had. I was researching Toyota Highlanders for a while, upon hearing that they were very reliable cars. I have been a Chevy/GMC customer for years. I decided to try something new. Upon calling the dealership to inquire on some cars I had seen listed online, I was greeted with a lot of answers to my questions and a very sincere nice invitation down to come see what they had. I arrived to the dealership and had my selected cars all ready to view. The sales person (Ahmed) then walked me through all the options that each car had. Then showed me the difference in pricing and helped me get more for my money. The whole process start to finish, from viewing then to financing and sealing the deal, all went exactly the way I had hoped for. I got a very great deal on a very great car. I will recommend anyone and everyone to this dealership. They have a great group of people to help you through purchasing any car new or used. My family and I are very very very happy! We will return to this dealership for any an all of our future purchases!!!!!!!! More

I must say I buy a new used car every couple of years. My experience with this dealership is by far the worst I have ever had in all my years of buying cars (16 to 38 years old). I went to pick the car up, a experience with this dealership is by far the worst I have ever had in all my years of buying cars (16 to 38 years old). I went to pick the car up, about an hour away from where I live and the car was not ready. This is after I called them three times throughout the day to make sure the car would be ready to pick up. I het there and I was told the breaks needed to be done and they were getting new tires for the car. OK, not a problem just don't make me drive an hour to fill me in. Go down the next day to pick the car up and drive two minutes off the lot, check engine light comes on. I call the salesman T. H. and it has now been almost two weeks and the light still comes on intermittently. During the two week period I was told by T. H. that he would talk to the service department and get back to me. I have never once received a call from him and had to call him several times in order to try to get an answer, which I never did. I was told by T. H. after calling him for two weeks to get the check engine light fixed that it was not a problem it was just an o2 sensor and ***I*** should have it checked out. This was only two weeks after buying the car from the dealership he works for McGEE Toyota in Hanover. Well evidently it is a problem, he said it was an o2 sensor and that you can blow them by putting gas in your car while it is running. Evidently he thinks I just fell of the turnip truck yesterday. Went to get a sticker today and the car failed to pass due to check engine light. The garage that I know respectable people at told me it was a problem with the mass air flow sensor. I have spoken to the used car sales manager who was just as helpless as T. H. and he actually tried to blow up the deal on the car (before pickup of car) great SALES MANAGER. I had to call and smooth things over with this hothead in order to buy the car from their dealership. Well to end this horrific experience with McGEE Toyota I am once again waiting for T. H. to call me back to schedule an appointment with the service department, this is after explaining everything to the used car sales manager. I guess as a manager you are not able to schedule service appointments for your customers when something is wrong with the car you sold them. That is the sole responsibility of the salesmanT. H. I find it hard to believe I will be hearing from him, I have heard nothing but lies and more lies from T. H. and the sales manager throughout this purchase. NEEDLESS to say this will be my last experience with them and if you plan to buy a used car I would look elsewhere. Take it for what it's worth, these people SUCK!!!!! More
We test drove a car advertised for $10,200 and decided we wanted to purchase it. After discussion, we were asked how much above the advertised price we intended to pay. When we said we would not offer abo wanted to purchase it. After discussion, we were asked how much above the advertised price we intended to pay. When we said we would not offer above the advertised price, the sales manager came over and the conversation deteriorated with the sales person and manager rambling on about profits and how much it was going to cost them to ready the car for sale to us or any . We've had several recent experiences with car dealers and have never been treated so insultingly. Apparently, this dealership not interested in customer satisfaction. Would not recommend this dealer. Had a fabulous experience at Mcgee. Was looking for a Sienna for the bride and she had to have a very specific color Slate Blue with Taupe interior. And we were in a negative equity position on her trade Sienna for the bride and she had to have a very specific color Slate Blue with Taupe interior. And we were in a negative equity position on her trade-in vehicle, a 2003 Dodge Caravan. I had researched the Sienna right down to what I could figure was the dealer's cost. Then spent some time looking at the trade in values on numerous websites. We test drove the van. She loved it, they had the color in stock and I braced myself for the "game". The sales person did the whole name address thing, asked if we could come to terms would we take delivery of the van immediately. I thought if they hit my numbers, sure.... He went to see his manager, they offered us a small discount, BUT the trade number looked GOOD! I thought this might work. I made my offer from my research, the sales person brought it to the sales manager, it was refused BUT it was only different by about $600. I looked at Allison and she had that "I love it look in her eye", I asked the sales person if he could save me another $250, off he went, cam back and said we'll split it with you if you can take delivery or at least sign the papers today. We both agreed, and really looking back on it, it was less aggravation than I had expected, I thought the Dodge would be the issue but it seems I was wrong. I got a GREAT vehicle and what I believe to be an equally good deal. I would buy again from them Allison and Frank.....Scituate, MA More
I also went because of the low price on the internet for the car. I even called first to verify the price. No where did it mention or did they say "their price". So was then given the "that is our cost and the car. I even called first to verify the price. No where did it mention or did they say "their price". So was then given the "that is our cost and we add profit to that" speech. Yes, I bought the car anyway, traded in a vehicle and was supposed to go back in a day to pick up the completed registration. No call that it was ready and when I called them five days later they announced that they actually didn't have the title to it. I have come to find out that it is illegal to sell a car without a title. So, it is now two weeks later, today was told the title "just came in today" and am waiting for them to call with registration. I will be reporting them to multiple agencies in the near future. More
I got completely TAKEN FOR A RIDE. I was rushed out of the dealership with my new car only to get home and find I had no paperwork. When I went back to pick it up the terms of the loan were not what we ha the dealership with my new car only to get home and find I had no paperwork. When I went back to pick it up the terms of the loan were not what we had agreed on. There are others with the same story ...see complaints.com for more information. More
