There were several issues with the purchase of our CPO Corolla: 1) The dealer lost the copy of my driver license, so I was forced with a sick 11 month old to seek out a Staples location to fax a copy o Corolla: 1) The dealer lost the copy of my driver license, so I was forced with a sick 11 month old to seek out a Staples location to fax a copy of my drivers license to them so they could complete the DMV paperwork. 2) The car was delivered on empty and according the sales person they only provide a full tank of gas on new car purchases. I was given a $10 coupon for a gas station down the road. That was a cheap trick given they charge $300 for delivery and prep. 3) They failed to process CPO paperwork so the CPO cards were not received until two months after the purchase. Most concerning was that we called Toyota first, and they had no record of the vehicle ever being certified, which McGee should have done previous to listing the car for sale, and 2) when we called the dealership they at first claimed we did not purchase a CPO vehicle. Only after I offered to fax them copies off their website, Auto Trader, the Toyota site did they put the certification through. 4) The sales persons, Tom Hyland, failed to return three follow-up messages after the purchase. My guess is that he is only focused on the sale, not building a customer base. Overall, a very less than impressive experience. More
I was in this dealership for 45min trying to negotiate a price with our salesman. We decided to go to another dealer to see if they could give us the payment we needed and when we told the finance manager price with our salesman. We decided to go to another dealer to see if they could give us the payment we needed and when we told the finance manager this he got upset and said we wasted their time and that "his guy" has kids at home to feed and he can't believe we were walking out and that we wasted two hours of his time. I found the experience to be completely uncomfortable and unprofessional. The way we were treated was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. I, absolutely, under no circumstances, would ever reccomend this dealer. More
i rated like this because i was sold a car in a bad condition and i was told it was in good condition the exaust was bend and it had likage and took it back and i was told that i did the damage wich of condition and i was told it was in good condition the exaust was bend and it had likage and took it back and i was told that i did the damage wich of course i did not. to the owner please hire people that are realy do care about the buyers interest i personally would never buy from you again. i spent over 16 thousand dollar for my van and it was not in good condition that it does not pass the state insperction but i was told it was in great condition yeha thats what i deserve for trusting those words from bill. We encountered a problem (dealership charged us 4,600 over the stated KBB price) and were promised all kinds of solutions until we actually got to the dealership to sort it out. Jamie made promises over the phone on one day and the next day when we went to the dealership based on his promises, he completely denied that he had ever promised anything over the phone. It was a full 2 hours of fighting with him. He refused to let us speak with the owner, who was walking around the showroom right outside the office we were in. The only way to resolve it was for us to exchange for a new car--way more than we wanted to pay, but at least we were paying for what the car was worth instead of being "tipped". It was a horrible experience. RUN don't walk away from this dealership and all 4 of its franchises!!!!! More
I had Tim as my salesperson, he was friendly and straight forward. He helped me get a RAV4 in my price range with low mileage. I hate the whole process of buying a car, the haggling, the shady dealers, the hassle, all of it. I don't know why people expect it to be like buying a pair of jeans at Nordstroms, face it, no matter what, the shady dealers, the hassle, all of it. With that said, I've never heard of great experiences at dealers, the reviews are always mixed but its really the individual salesman that can make a huge difference. My personal sales consultant was Tim Mayo, he was awesome! He was so nice and very personable I didn't feel pressured or annoyed. I first went to see Tim a few weeks ago when I was just feeling stuff out, this was the first time buying my own car so I was hesitant. He understood and I kept McGee in mind. After traveling to other dealerships with very high prices and even worse salesmen, I returned to McGee this past Saturday and Tim was there, luckily we made a deal and I am now an owner of a Toyota Corolla which I love, I have had a positive experience thus far. I would give them a try and look for Tim Mayo! More
