Was brought to McGee because of their website and pricing. Spoke to Chandler to see if the 2013 new Toyota Avalon was on the lot and if the price on the website was correct at $30,346. I was told t pricing. Spoke to Chandler to see if the 2013 new Toyota Avalon was on the lot and if the price on the website was correct at $30,346. I was told that was correct and made an appointment with Channing to see it the next day. I drove an hour to see the car the next day, after calling Chandler to tell him I would be delayed by a half an hour. I arrived at McGee was assigned to Chris, a young and obviously new salesman. I asked to drive the car in question while I had my 2011 Avalon Limited appraised. When I returned, I sat with Chris who I had informed earlier that I too, was a salesman, and only interested in one price and the buyout on my car. He assured me he would bring me the best price. I was chagrined to see that the price out of the box was over $36,000 for a car I had seen (and is still on the website, stock#49740) at $30,346. He questioned my recollection of the price online until we went to a computer and looked it up, and lo and behold, I was correct. He then danced that their web pricing includes every possible rebate and incentive that you can receive, including recent college graduate, military, etc. At 55, I was neither. I informed him that a Cape Cod Toyota Dealer has a similar car on its lot, which was priced similarly and that I would be heading directly there to get my car. The Falmouth dealer was true to their internet pricing and sold me a 2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid at it's advertised web price without playing any games. McGee is playing the old "bait and switch" game. While I'm sure they are covered legally under some small print, their tactics are unethical and inherently dishonest. The irony is that the next day, young Christopher called me to see how I made out at Falmouth. I happily informed him that they were honest, welcoming and got my business as an ethical business. With the advent of internet advertising, I would warn car buyers that McGee's internet prices are not a net value. You must qualify for every potential rebate and incentive to get the price they advertise, and frankly, very few if any will qualify for them all. I would warn consumers to be very careful of, what is in my opinion, McGee's unethical website pricing practices. More
They practice what they know to be very deceptive pricing practices. The advertise prices online that they can not deliver on. When we decided to talk about pricing, everything came out as payment amounts ju practices. The advertise prices online that they can not deliver on. When we decided to talk about pricing, everything came out as payment amounts just scribbled on the back of a piece of paper. Knowing that these prices were way out of line, I started to asks them how they derived the payment amounts since they were much higher than I had figured. That's when they informed me that I did not qualify for any of the rebates (funny they never asked me any questions to determine that) they even quoted a price for using Toyota financing. When I asked for the price of the car I was given a paper with just the price typed on it, nothing , I mean nothing else. When I challenged the pricing the sales manager ripped the paper out of my hand and stated I was not allowed to have it. The conversation got heated and I stormed out. When I called to speak to the General Manager, he tried to talk me into the same deal, I told him the only way he was going to please me was to give me the price listed, he continued to try to make the sale, when I told him the only thing he could do was give me the advertised price, he accused me of just being a trouble maker and hung up on me. I bought a vehicle from another dealership later that afternoon. More
By far the worst Toyota dealership I encountered during my vehicle search. McGee qualifies as THE WORST for many reasons, but notably for the deceiving and false car pricing shown on their website and the my vehicle search. McGee qualifies as THE WORST for many reasons, but notably for the deceiving and false car pricing shown on their website and their poor communications with the customer. For example, the standard Destination charge ($860 for a 4runner) is NOT included in the listed prices so customers need to add it on. On the other hand, all incentives are put in order to artificially reduce the vehicle's price, confusing the customer and giving the appearance of a lower price (most people don't qualify for veteran/military discount, college graduate rebate, etc). Don't waste your time. Buy your car/truck elsewhere. The Better Business Bureau will be notified regarding the shady marketing and sales practices at McGee Toyota. Brad, feel free to respond to this after ignoring all my previous emails. More

Joe and Brian were knowledgeable, informative, helpful, efficient and understood what my needs were and were able to get the job done. My intent was to look at a pickup truck I saw online but it was sold. When I explained to Joe my criteria he had just what I was looking for. He had a GMC Envoy perfect for me. He and Brian got everything prepared quickly and efficiently. I also worked with Matt Campbell to finalize the deal. A week later I am driving my new vehicle. Thanks everyone! More

Joe (Papa T) was very helpful from the moment my mother and I got on the lot. He showed us various cars that would fall within my budget and allowed me to look them over freely. He answered all our questio and I got on the lot. He showed us various cars that would fall within my budget and allowed me to look them over freely. He answered all our questions with ease. We took a corolla out for a test spin but it felt too small for me. Papa T suggested that we take a Camry out for a ride as that would be more along the size of car i was used to. We took the Camry out and he was right! The Camry was perfect. Papa T and the team at McGee worked with us to get the numbers lined up so i could drive the Camry home that day. Everyone we encountered at the dealership on Saturday were friendly, helpful and best of all, not over bearing or pushy. I was very pleased with my experience and i love my new-to-me Camry! More
I was quoted a certain price for a new vehicle via email. I was also told that I would get a ball bark amount on my trade by using McGee's black book link. I drove 2.5 hours to McGee just to find out that the price quoted and "ball park" on my trade was wrong. They said they made a mistake on cars.com regarding price, that the price they quoted me didn't include doc fees (which it did and I have the email to prove it), and that the ball park trade amount using black book was to be taking off of full retail of the vehicle not an already discounted price (This is not in writing anywhere). Using their black book link my truck came in at 3200 to 4200. They offered me 650, yes 650. After picking my jaw off the ground they bumped it up to 1500. In the end they would not honor the price they already quoted me via email, we were off by only 400. I wasted 6 hours between driving and negotiating for nothing. I will be calling Toyota regarding their practices. More
