Shopping for leased RAV4 We went to McGee to lease a RAV4 which was advertised for $139 month. The salesman upped our down payment (to an amount we couldn't afford) and the price was still around $400. We then said we had to go home and think about it and he then brought the manager in. But then I was so disgusted I walked out; this was after having to ask for my own car keys back about 3 times. I felt they were holding the keys hostage. The salesman and manager had no interest in listening to what we were telling them we could afford. More

Great customer service Went to McGee because my car had a recall that was preventing it from passing state inspection. Bill Thomas emailed me saying on sunday morning it was still available. I called at noon on Sunday to confirm it was still available and he confirmed with me it was. I did an auto trader estimate on resale value of my 2010 Toyota Camry LE with 33K miles on it ..in good condition with dealer installed sunroof and got 11K value for it. I also checked the offers for new cars and it said Mcgee toyota was offering either 0% financing for 60 months or 1.9 for 72 months or instead 1000 cash back. My payments on my car now are 232 a month with 3 years left so i owe 8700 on my car. i told them i knew it would be a higher payment per month roughly 50 i figured. i would pay sales tax ext. I get down to dealership at 3 and guess what….yes….the car sold last night….the lot salesman says….i say thats funny the internet salesman told me in an email it was still available this am…the lot salesman says oh…that must of been around 11when he came in…and i says no the email came at eleven but i called at noon and the internet salesman confirmed it was still available. so here i am. I want the deal…well the lot salesman says we have similar vehicles we can show you …and i said i want the same deal if you can't do it ..I am done here….well he says let me crunch some numbers on this one here. different car different color different options….so i entertain him to see what he comes up with….holy crap!!!!!! not only did my payment get a bit higher…..dig this 535 a month!!!!! you are kidding me i told him….im done…i will see you later…..and he says wait we have your keys…let me go get them (see they appraised my car for trade in which they were going to give me 9.5k for not the auto trader guaranteed 11K) so i have to wait…now they bring out the negotiator,. needless to say wasted 3 hours on a sunday for a lease option of 25K when said and done on a 28K vehicle and giving up my 2010 with 33k miles…me you won't see me at McGees again. More

When I mentioned the advertisement, he brought in another salesman whose name I can't remember now. I had never expected to buy the car at the advertised price as the advertisement clearly mentioned that the price included rebates and incentives that I may not qualify for. However, after some haggling, we were given a very good price below competitors' pricing. Excellent price, polite service, and good hospitality means that I can definitively say that my time at McGee Toyota was a great experience. More

Got a New Ride for Low Monthly Payments--What's Not to Love? I was feeling anxious that my 12 year old Corolla was on its last legs. Then came Vernel, in his friendly way, to patiently explain my options and show me the new cars. His first choice was a beautiful 2014 Corolla in red. I fell in love immediately when I drove it. Smooth ride, new technology, should get great mileage, and I could lease it for three years for a very reasonable rate. I can't say anything bad about my experience. I got a new ride and my out-of-pocket expense was just about the same as it would have been to repair the old car. And, more importantly, I got peace of mind! More
