I traded in my mint condition convertible 1995 Geo Tracker with manual locking hubs for a 2000 Toyota Camry. It was a mess from the start. They let me take my trade before they hd my financing done, so they lied to me, and then wouldn’t give me my car back when I decided not to work with them because they were ruining my credit during this process. I hadn’t had bad credit just a lack of credit. I never would’ve left with the Camry, nor left my Tracker there if my financing wasn’t in order. They only gave me a pitiful $400 on my Tracker. It had a lot of custom parts. Not even a ding in the paint. New rag top. The agent I was working with also left us sitting in his office and excused himself for a moment which seemed professional enough… only to get into a physical altercation with a previous client he had that was returning his vehicle. I should’ve walked away. I wish I had. I felt pressured. They made me think they’d put so many man hours into getting g my deal put together. The car hadn’t been cleaned, tank was in empty. And they ran my credit through so many banks without my permission, that my credit dipped significantly. I will never purchase a vehicle from them again. My next 4 vehicles came from other dealers. Mark was friendly courteous. They corrected my problem with my 2013 Toyota however I'm really not happy with the hourly shop rate at $200 an hour. That is outrageous.
