What a joke of a car dealership. Too bad that I had to select minimum of 1 for a rating for each of the categories. If there was something lower, would have definitely selected that. I wish I had seen thi select minimum of 1 for a rating for each of the categories. If there was something lower, would have definitely selected that. I wish I had seen this website for the review of this store before I went there. It is not surprising to see others have had the same experience, at the same time I am surprised they are still in business. So my experience started with me finding a car (Nissan Altima 2008) I was interested in on yahoo auto (quoted at $12999) and emailed the dealership. I promptly got a response saying I could come in for a test drive any time as soon as I called and setup an appointment. Sure enough, I called and setup an appointment for the same and decided to go in for the test drive today. So, I decided to go in the same day. When I reached the dealdership, I was told the guy whom I setup the appointment with had left for the day. Imagine, I drive 35 miles to get to this place and the guy who was supposed to meet me "LEFT FOR THE DAY" without any information to me or anyone there to say I should have been expected. Anyhow, I decided to give them benefit of doubt when I was told I would be helped by someone else. So, I waited and waited and waited..finally after 45 mins of waiting, I couldn't take it any longer and went to see the guy at the desk to ask if someone was going to come and help me. He looked at me as if he was looking at me for the first time and said, "EXCUSE ME"? I went "huh!!"..what the *&^&)&^&^&%, I waited there like an idiot in the hope that someone would come and help me, not to mention, very insulted by the reaction of this man. Not only did they do this, the manager there said, "have you looked at the disclaimer on the website?"...DISCLAIMER, WHAT DISCLAIMER I asked, there was nothing on the yahoo autos website. To that he said, the price that was quoted was in the hope of a possible trade-in worth $4500, so if I didn't have a trade in, that would be 12,999 + 4500 = 17,999 (I know it doesn't even add up right). To add salt to the injury he asked, "would you like to test ride it anyway?", to which I said, well having come 35miles, the least I could do is at least test ride the car, so I said "yes, I would liek to test ride the car". He looked at the manager and they both go, "oops, sorry, don't have the keys, the guy who was here this evening took them with him". I mean, you cannot get any lower than this with customer service. These people are extremely rude, unpolite, unprofessional and whatever else you can associate with that. I have never seen customer service at such disgustibly low levels. I have never actually written against anyone for bad customer service before, but this not just about their customer service, it was also their absolutely disrepect for their customers (me and some other people who had come there). I definitely don't recommend this dealership to anyone under any circumstances. Its better to pay a few extra dollars and be treated with some dignity and respect rather than deal with such uncouth people. More
This was by far the worst experience I have had at a car dealership. I looked at an SUV - a 2004 chevy trailblazer the asking price on the website was $8,900.00 So I drove it.. the salesman by the way was dealership. I looked at an SUV - a 2004 chevy trailblazer the asking price on the website was $8,900.00 So I drove it.. the salesman by the way was very friendly. After driving it me and my finance were pleased with the vehicle. We sat down with the salesman and he gave me some figures. I was told with $2,000.00 down my payment would be around 155.00 a month with no money down around 200.00 a month. So I go the following day to fill out the paperwork .. now this is mind blowing. The figures were not just a little off but about $200.00 off!!! I am told they could not get the loan for 60 months and that the payments will be 280.00 a month..then after looking at the paperwork it was listed at $349.00 a month for that price I can get a brand new vehicle.. so we then proceed to talk to the "big boss" he was throwing numbers all over the place. He told me I could never get the vehicle for 155 to 200 per month and funny thing is when I first got there the salesman from the prior day was there.. then all of a sudden he had a "family emergency" lol! He then says we can go to such and such an amount for 60 months now a few sentences ago I was told I could not get a loan for 60 days. He continues to try to lower the payments but not going lower than 250.00.. sorry I was told 155-200 and that is what I want. He then proceeds to say this deal is no longer valid and calls someone on the phone and says if you sell a car to this lady you will be fired. WOW! is all I can say.. very unprofessional.. Buyers beware their prices on their website are not true.. The salesmen are very friendly but other than that they are very unprofessional and misleading. It was the worst experience I have ever had and would not recommend my worst enemy to go there More
So glad to see we were not the only ones mislead and disrespected here. We searched online for a RAV4 on autotrader and found one here at a lower price than most others of same year and mileage 10,399. disrespected here. We searched online for a RAV4 on autotrader and found one here at a lower price than most others of same year and mileage 10,399. I had a feeling it was too good to be true. I did an Autocheck report online to find it had a clean history. I pulled up their website directly and the price on website said "internet price" call Jeff, another window even pops up with the monthly payment for financing based on their internet rate 205/month. There is a small note on the page also that says, "All Price reflect Dealer Cost" Since it seemed too good to be true and who knows exactly what the "dealer cost" note meant exactly, I called and talked to Jeff and asked if they still had the car, and if the price on their website was the price, he said yes to both questions and said they were having a sale today. So, we drove the 1+hour to get to the dealership and check out the car, it looked good, so a different sales rep came and asked us if we wanted to test drive it and he just needed a copy of 1 license and a valid phone number, we gave him that, he brought the car around and said, hang on you're going to need to put gas in it, let me get you a voucher. He gave us a voucher and told us where to get the gas. (thought that was odd, but was fine with that) Off we went to test drive, the car was fine. When we returned the gentleman who had us drive it asked if we were interested in "working numbers or not", we said, sure.. Now, I found that interesting since I thought I already knew the price, but, since I read some of the info on the website www.carbuyingtips.com, I was a bit leary and prepared for things. We already had our credit scores, pre qualified with our own bank and had the autocheck report and knew prices for comps of same car. He sat down with us and started a bit of the process and i noticed he wrote down a monthly payment amount of much higher (250-300)than we were expecting based on website, again, since we thought we knew the price. So, he left and turned us over to Jeff. Well, now started the process of their apparent one way routine of selling a car at a mystery price and by a monthly car payment amount only. So, basically, we were told that the price on their website is the dealer's cost and what the dealer paid, and that there is no way you can get a car like this for that price. When we asked if they were going to honor the price he did not even acknowledge the price that is posted on the website, still posted I might add, even though I made him look it up, he was saying they paid almost $1000 more for the car than the "internet rate" posted on their website and that it must not be updated due to whatever work they may have done to it after they bought it at auction. He then proceeded to pretend to change the price on their website to the higher price he told us which was "the dealer cost" supposedly and not even the true sale price. But, even with the back and forth about the price posted on the website, he would not tell us a price it was to be sold for, he only said, "these cars typically go for 13999 and you can't expect that that was the price." Well, he would not give us a sale price, he just got focused on financing and a monthly payment amount (he assumed) we could afford. This was frustrating because I did not even want to discuss monthly payments because I was planning on using my own bank. He was trying to coerce us into buying it on the spot, if he could get us the monthly payment we wanted. I only wanted to know what interest rate he could get us and the price. He kept saying stop clouding it all over with all that because all it really comes down to is a monthly payment. This was so frustrating! I have worked in sales (and purchasing) for 22 years, the #1 thing a decent sales person needs to do is listen! We were not heard. He just kept focused on the monthly payment amount and gave us a number and said if i can get you this will you buy this today. I was annoyed and frustrated, I read on the car buying tips website how not to be sold on a monthly payment, and that was common sense to me anyways, because they can work anything into that, I had no idea what he was charging me for the car, how much i would get for my trade in(in fairness we did not have it with us, but they were supposedly going to give us an estimate), and he was rolling sales taxes and fees into it that we were not going to have to pay since we were from out of state. He had this fixed number he thought we could get for a monthly payment and wanted to run it by his manager to see if it could work.. We asked for some time to discuss and he obliged. OK, now, we had no idea what the price would be, and what would be done to get to this monthly payment (increase term of loan etc)and we made a decision to walk out. I was annoyed, frustrated and felt like I was not taken seriously. Another note, he had an assumption we could not afford the More
On 11/4, I called this dealership about a car (2007 Honda Accord SE) I saw for sale on the internet. I spoke with Steve (manager), and he gave me a price of $14k. This was a very good deal as most other de Accord SE) I saw for sale on the internet. I spoke with Steve (manager), and he gave me a price of $14k. This was a very good deal as most other dealers were selling this similar car for around $17,500, so I confirmed the price again and reviewed and doc fees, etc that would be associated with any sale...that total was an additional $395 plus TTL. I decided to go test drive it and if it was nice, would buy it. Upon my arrival, I dealt briefly with Jeff (nice guy). I offered $13,200 after my test drive. He said no way could I get the car for that...When I told him the price I was quoted, he told me I couldn't get that car for that price...He went to check in with Steve and Steve proceeds to yell across the showroom to me that that car had been in an accident, but they had a 2008 Nissan Altima that might work better for me...I told him I checked Carfax, and saw nothing, so he told me it was on Autocheck...I then logged in to a computer, paid my $15 and pulled up an Autocheck report...that too, was clean. He said Autocheck had a dealer version that was more detailed than that which is available to the consumer...I told him I'd like to buy that car at his asking price...He again tried to sell me everything else on the lot but the car I'd gone to see, test drove and offered full asking price for. When he saw this was going nowhere, he and Jeff then decided to try and get me to finance thru them. I told him I was already approved thru AAA and I was all set at 4.35%...He said his bank could get me at 5% and "it's only about an $8/mo difference"...After confirming this was a cost he didn't want to pay for me, I told him I would go with AAA...He then tells me he won't take a deposit on the car to hold the car until the next morning when I could bring them a check...I ask him how I'm suppose to get an RMV-1 and P&S for my bank, and after he realized how silly he was being, decided to proceed with the paperwork... I was then shuffled over to "the finance manager"...After a short introduction, he tries to sell me the extended warranty. After several declines from me, he goes out to the sales manager...I then hear, from out in the showroom floor, Steve YELL the following..."He's not buying the xxxxx warranty because you're not showing him the value!!! If I go in there and sell him this xxxxx warranty, I'm blowing your a$$ outta here!!!"...Yes, the manager actually yelled this out.. Steve then comes in, angrily, closes the door, and thinks he's now going to bully me into a warranty, telling me someone's job is now on the line...At this point, under no circumstances was I going to take it from him...After about 10 minutes, I think he was starting to get the drift that I wanted nothing to do with him or his warranty...He told me I'd have to sign a form (which I figured didn't exist anyways) indicating he did his magnificent job of trying to hard-sell his warranty, and that I declined....I then asked him to go get this form, and of course, he was unable to produce it...I indicated how disrespectful and unprofessional he was being...He then left, and the paperwork was finished... The next day, I was on my way to nearby dealership to turn in my leased car so I could then go pick up the accord I was buying...I called over to see if there was anyone who could pick me up and of course, Steve said no...(by the way...it was only about 10 minutes away...) After my cab ride over, I went into this dealership and went over to the sales desk...Steve took my $12,000 check I got from the bank, and I counted out $2,000 CASH that I had taken out of the bank that morning...When I asked for a receipt, Steve, flipped out saying I wasn't getting a receipt for the $2,000 CASH I'd just given him, and he indicated that the P&S was my receipt...I told him the P&S only indicated the selling price, what was financed (which they had put $14,000) and what was due, and not that I PAID what was due after the $12,000 financed...He then said "Are you looking for trouble?"..."You always get what you want, but not this time."...He then yelled over to one of the other sales guys, "take the plates off that Honda!"...He then yells to me "I'm not giving you a receipt."...I then asked for my cash back and told him I would put it on my Visa card and I would pay the transaction fee the credit card company would change him (usually around 1-2%). He said "I'll eat that"...He ran my credit card, I signed off and I walked out the door...He said nothing more… When I got back to my office, I realized the key they gave me was the valet key with no remote...I called back over there and Jeff told me that's all they had, then hung up the phone on me...Their ad said it came with "remote keyless entry"...but there was no remote...I guess that's how they interpret "keyless"???....The ad also said it came with front floor mats...instead I got the two rear mats and the passenger mat...no d More
