JIM JIM JIM!!! WHAT A SNAKE IN THE GRASS! HE'S SMOOTH, JIM JIM JIM!!! WHAT A SNAKE IN THE GRASS! HE'S SMOOTH, HE MUST HAVE JUST SHED HIS SNAKESKIN! WATCH OUT!! THIS SO CALLED SUPERVISOR SAID HE "FORGOT" JIM JIM JIM!!! WHAT A SNAKE IN THE GRASS! HE'S SMOOTH, HE MUST HAVE JUST SHED HIS SNAKESKIN! WATCH OUT!! THIS SO CALLED SUPERVISOR SAID HE "FORGOT" TO ADD GAP INSURANCE TO MY FINANCE PAPERWORK, AND SWITCHED THE PERCENTAGE RATE FROM 12% TO 21%!!! I WAS THERE ALL DAY AND MY 5 YEAR OLD WAS ROLLING AROUND ON THE FLOOR SO WHEN HE CAME BACK SAYING "IT WAS AN EASY FIX" I JUST SIGNED WHERE HE POINTED.... SOMETHING STRUCK ME AND JUST TOLD ME TO LOOK AT IT AGAIN. THIS WAS ABOUT 2 HOURS LATER AND I FLEW LIKE A BAT OUTTA xxxx TO BRING HIM THE PAPERWORK TO FIX. HE ACTED LIKE HE'D NEVER SEEN ME BEFORE IN HIS LIFE AS IF HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE DID. SO I DEMANDED MY CAR BACK, HE REFUSED. 2 HOURS?? THE INK WASN'T EVEN DRY! I CALLED THE POLICE AND THEY SAID I HAD TO RESOLVE IN COURT. WHAT CRIMINALS!! TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SINGLE MOM!! SHAME SHAME SHAME!!! BUT JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL. KARMA, JIM. OR EVEN BETTER: "YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW." NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WAS ALSO DRIVING ILLEGALLY BECAUSE THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO CALL MY INSURANCE COMPANY TO NOTIFY THEM OF THE SWITCH AND JUST SLAPPED MY PLATES ON THE NEW CAR AND TOLD ME I WAS FINE BECAUSE I HAD FULL INSURANCE ON THE OLD CAR.(THEIR MISTAKE- LATER I REAPED BENEFITS) THEY LET ME DRIVE OFF THE LOT. IF I GOT PULLED OVER THEY COULD HAVE TAKEN THE CAR BECAUSE IT WASN'T REGISTERED! I WENT TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED TO ME AND I GOT A CAR 5 YEARS NEWER, NO MONEY OR TRADE, AND AT 8.89%! I HAD THEM TOW MCGEE'S CAR BACK TO THEM. MY INSURANCE COMPANY CLOSES EARLY ON SATURDAYS SO I GOT HOLD OF THEM 1ST MONDAY MORNING TO WARN THEM. WHEN THE BANK CALLED TO VERIFY THE PURCHASE, I TOLD THEM I'M NOT "BINDING" INSURANCE ON THAT CAR AND WHY. APPARENTLY, THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY I GOT OUT OF THAT HORRIBLE DEAL. THANK GOD! I WOULD HAVE PAID 23K FOR A 8K CAR!! AS FOR MY TRADE-IN VEHICLE, THEY KEPT IT!! I'M IN SMALL CLAIMS RIGHT NOW, AND THEY KEEP DEFAULTING. NO SURPRISE THERE... I LEARNED MY LESSON... GO TO EDMUNDS.COM AND STUDY. IT'S REALLY A AUTO EDUCATION CLASS YOU NEED BEFORE BUYING CAR. PLEASE DON'T LEARN IT THE HARD WAY. YOU MAY NOT BE AS LUCKY. More

If you checked their website you will see that the prices listed are "Dealer Cost". Do you really believe that they are selling cars at these prices? If so, you shouldn't be buying a car. I dealt with Jim an listed are "Dealer Cost". Do you really believe that they are selling cars at these prices? If so, you shouldn't be buying a car. I dealt with Jim and Jerry and these guys were great to work with. In fact, the car I was looking at was in near perfect condition. Give them a try and be realistic with your offer. They do have some nice cars. More
THEY ARE THE WORST AND MOST DISHONEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. I was billed for an extended service agreement from these clowns and when I went to cancel the agreement within the cancellation terms I w DELT WITH. I was billed for an extended service agreement from these clowns and when I went to cancel the agreement within the cancellation terms I was never refounded the money. I called the extended service company and Mcgee never even put in the paperwork they just kept my money and still have not issued me a credit. This has been going on for 3 months. Do yourself a favor go to another dealer. More
As with other reviews, if there were ratings lower than "1" would have selected them. This was the worst sales and customer service experience we have ever dealt with. The issues were numerous, from faul "1" would have selected them. This was the worst sales and customer service experience we have ever dealt with. The issues were numerous, from faulty advertising, to lying about issues with the car, to threats to my husband, to intimidating and harassing phone calls....unprofessionalism and rudeness all the way up the chain of command, with the worst being Steve Benner, the GM. When I attempted to go "over his head" to the other dealership, he called and yelled at me for doing so. I filed complaints with the BBB and Attorney Generals office. Luckily, my credit card company sided with me and reversed the charges related to this sale. On top of all this, someone from McGee forged my name on the title that was given to them for a trade-in vehicle. It took 2 months to get that back and now I know why. Stay far away from this place. - They never tell you the price for the car that you are looking at - while making the deal, they force you to get the loan for 12 months. - after you singed all paper work, they won't give you a copy, th looking at - while making the deal, they force you to get the loan for 12 months. - after you singed all paper work, they won't give you a copy, they said will be in by mail. - If you don't know much english, they will change the paper work without notify you and came to youto have you sign it again with the reason that you missed to sign couple more paper work. That will be the agreement you have to pay the loan for 66 months. - a week later when you received the loan payment coupon book. Then you will find out the loan is not 12 months which is 66 months. Overall they are not honest. More
The dealer is the worst one I have ever seen so far. If I knew they are such cheaters and xxxxxxxx, I would never ever go there. I found this dearler from cars.com. I found they have a pretty good deal I knew they are such cheaters and xxxxxxxx, I would never ever go there. I found this dearler from cars.com. I found they have a pretty good deal about 8,000 dollars for 2006 Nissan Altima. I found that is a fake amount when I got there. I have to put in 4,000 dollars down to get that deal.(Cheater). Well, before I found out, I was pushed to fill out the form and get my SSN number for checking credit even though I told him I have excellent credit. He also asked me if I want to trade in car. I said "no" because I can't decide yet. After he knew my car is Nissan Xterra, he commented it is a horrible car, and no one is driving the car. What a jerk!!!! I can't believe a sale person would say that to client in front of faces. Beside that, my car has nothing to do with him. For me, checking out the car is more important than talking about my monthly payment. He just keep talking about how much I can pay per month. His excuse is that once he knows how much I can pay per month, he knows what kinds of car he can show me. It sounds like I can't afford those junk preowned cars. I am really a nice person. I still keep it calm cause I am here buying the car not arguing. Anyway he finally showed me the car. As I told you early, I was cheated. We started negotiating the price. I told him it was only worth less $10,000 based on the condition. He showed me attitude and commented I will never get a 2006 Nissan ALtima at almost 50K miles with the amount. I only can get the one with 100,000 miles. "xxxxxxxx!". Tell you what, he even commented me as a cheap guy. When I said I might come back again. Can you guess what he said to me? I bet $1000 on that you can't imagine he could say "DON"T BOTHER COMING BACK!" And he even said twice. I was so pissed and so mad at him. I almost had a fight with him. You know what he is not only a jerk, all the people there are same. When I was walking out, they were yelling "free", "free car", something like that, even with speakers. A BUNCH OF xxxxxxxx including the managers. I STRONGLLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE. Please tell all the people you know if they are looking for preowned cars. DO NOT BUY THE CAR FROM THEM!!! More
OK. So my fiance and I went to McGee in Pembroke to check out a few cars that we saw that they had posted online. I went inside to ask the price on a Jeep that I saw outside (because NONE of the cars hav out a few cars that we saw that they had posted online. I went inside to ask the price on a Jeep that I saw outside (because NONE of the cars have the prices on them). Before giving us ANY info, besides the year and model, he made him fill out a form with ALL of his info to run his credit check. All we wanted was to know a little about the car! Then when I told him that I was uncomfortable giving him our info at this point in time because everytime you run a credit check it messes up your credit store the guy got all huffy. So he FINALLY goes to bring the car around. Yeah, the Jeep wouldnt even start. He claims that it was out of gas... Ok, so then how was it parked in the lot? Did they flinstone it there? C'mon now. So he brings out another vehichle, that we didnt even express an interest in.Then he shows us this car, while smoking a cigarette 5 feet away from my 10 week old baby. We explained to Michael that our budget was $7,000 and that we could not spend anymore than that because we were getting married in 32 days and we were in the process of buying a house. He promised us to give us a price by today that would be within the budget that we set. He calls us this morning and tells us that his asking price is $8,900.... even though he promises us within the $7,000 budget and even though we expressed we could not spend anymore than that. I tell him that I have decided to look at other dealerships and he HANGS UP ON ME. So, I call back and ask to speak to a manager to tell him about how mistreated I was. The "manager" pretty much laughs at me and he says that ALL dealerships take your SSN and do a credit check before giving any info on cars because "Creditors want to know that if you go to a dealership that you will buy a car at THAT dealership." (xxxxxxxx). So then he continues to pretty much mock me and say things like, "What do you want me to do, fire him? haha". And so I explained to him that he is losing buisness because of his representative not following along with specifications that your customers set and SMOKING when dealing with his clients. More
Not surprised that my comment is not different from others. Totally worst car buying experience ever. From customer service - to prices. I suggest everyone not even waste your time coming to this de others. Totally worst car buying experience ever. From customer service - to prices. I suggest everyone not even waste your time coming to this dealership. The price they offer is around $4-5K more than what's listed on the website. And don't trust phone conversations. They'll tell you that the price is correct. I personally wasted a lot of time there, got frustrated. Thanks god, I didn't end up buying a car at that place. WORST, WORST, WORST EVER !!! More
I went to the lot and looked at the inventory and then I went home and looked the cars up on the web page. The prices that are listed on website http://www.mcgeesuperstore.com/index.htm are the dealer pric went home and looked the cars up on the web page. The prices that are listed on website http://www.mcgeesuperstore.com/index.htm are the dealer prices, not the price of the cars. I called to see if I car I wanted was still available and it sold - between 8:00 PM and 9:30 the next morning, possible but unlikely. Be careful with this place, the salesman told me that they list the dealer prices so that you can make a reasonable offer...never heard such nonsense in my life. I really need a car, but it won't be from McGee. Buyer beware More
