I'm in love with my new car from McGee! I got a 2008 Accord and John worked with my budget range and preferences to find me the car I wanted. This was the 4th dealer I had been to and they beat all the Accord and John worked with my budget range and preferences to find me the car I wanted. This was the 4th dealer I had been to and they beat all the other deals I was offered by a longshot! Everyone is friendly and willing to help. Would definitely recommend. More
Great dealership. I've been shopping for Toyota Camry 2008 couple weeks from now. Finally came to the McGee Superstore in Pembroke on Black Friday. The customer service is excellent. They don't push you, 2008 couple weeks from now. Finally came to the McGee Superstore in Pembroke on Black Friday. The customer service is excellent. They don't push you, like many other dealerships do, give a time to think, open to negotiations. I had a salesperson Walid (highly recommend this guy). He just started working in the car-business, so he is not spoiled by it and is very nice man and polite. Any question you ask - he has an answer. The manager who closed the deal, Sofiane, was tolerant and respectful. He didn't let me go before I got a great deal!!! Shopping the vehicle is tough and very tedious process, you have to be patient and persistent in order to get a good deal from the seller. 100% satisfied with this dealership!!! I recommend this place to everybody. Those who had a bad experience with them either met the wrong person in a bad mood or don't know how to shop the car. Thank you McGee dealership. More
This company used an advertise FRAUD!!! if you search for cars (ex:2006 Avalon $10000) from this dealer in www.cars.com, you see see it listed around $9200. Yet, you don't realize there is a big catch to it. cars (ex:2006 Avalon $10000) from this dealer in www.cars.com, you see see it listed around $9200. Yet, you don't realize there is a big catch to it. I called them up before going there and asked if that was the sale price and if it is still available. The rep said yes, so we came to see. I print out the ad for the Avalon and show it to them. We waited for over 30 minutes for an agent to show us the car. Until we decided to leave that an agent come and show us the car. I showed them the ad that we print out from their website and he said it is a "Dealer Invoice" price and the car is for sale around $14,000. This dealer is the worse dealer I have ever been to. I recommend to avoid going there to buy car. Beware of their advertise scam!! More
I would recommend this dealership to friends. I went in there after my transmission went out on my 98 Mazda and was helped by a sales guy who listened to my situation (and my BUDGET!!) and showed me what h there after my transmission went out on my 98 Mazda and was helped by a sales guy who listened to my situation (and my BUDGET!!) and showed me what he had. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy. he answered all my questions and didn't treat me like I didn't know what I was talking about becasue I was a girl. I ended up buying a 2005 Civic from him becasue for one, he gave me a good deal (trust me, I did research!) and he was nice, respectful and most of all not forceful. I didn't feel like it was a buy now or never type situation. I took my time and decided on the car I really loved - and I got it. Thanks, McGee! More
As with other reviews, if there were ratings lower than 1, I would have selected them. This was the worst sales and customer service experience I have ever dealt with, EVER! Rude and disrespectful staff w 1, I would have selected them. This was the worst sales and customer service experience I have ever dealt with, EVER! Rude and disrespectful staff who leave you standing around in the sales room for 30 minutes, walking right past you without a word, salesmen smoking and spitting right outside the door, false advertising, lying about mechanical issues with the car, I could go on and on. I will definitely be filing a complaint with the BBB and Attorney Generals Office. They advertise their car prices on their website as “COST”, but what it doesn’t say on their website, is this is the dealer’s cost, or what they say they paid for this car. They expect, but don’t tell you until you’ve already disclosed your private information to them, that they expect you to pay $4500 on top of this “cost” price. No wonder there are not prices on their vehicles!! If I knew they are such cheaters and liars, I would never have spent a total of 5 hours of my time traveling there and dealing with them. Both times I went there, the first thing they did was to get my SSN to check my credit. They didn’t act like you would expect a professional salesperson to act AT ALL! Jeff had an answer for everything I brought up, and it was so obvious that he was a liar and a cheat. He stated “of course, you have to pay 4,500 on top of this price. It's on our website, on main page” and “how else would we make a profit?” I asked him to print out this page for me, which took him 15 minutes, probably because he produced a page by cutting and pasting, NOT A PAGE FROM THE ACTUAL WEBSITE (I checked!). He told me the mechanic had run out of gas, that’s why the second salesperson who was waiting on us had to leave. He kept telling me this, and finally I told him that I didn’t care about his mechanic. It was extremely obvious that the brakes needed pads and rotors. I even had my mechanic take it for a test drive two days ago, and he confirmed this. Jeff kept saying that there was nothing wrong with the brakes, and that the mechanic wouldn’t have missed something like this. He kept saying he could get the car payments to within my budget, when in fact, it was three times what I expected, due to the false price advertisement. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE. Please tell all the people you know if they are looking for preowned cars. DO NOT BUY THE CAR FROM THEM!!! DO NOT WASTE ONE SECOND OF YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE. More
AWFUL! Friendliness was good at first because you are low hanging fruit with $$$ tattooed on your forehead. At the point when you make it known that you won't be taken advantage of and are actually a very in hanging fruit with $$$ tattooed on your forehead. At the point when you make it known that you won't be taken advantage of and are actually a very intelligent person that will require actual work to please, the friendliness goes down a few pegs. When you call them out on jerking you around and trying to pull a fast one, they turn down right rude, offensive, and even a bit inappropriate. I walked in happy and "just looking". Then quickly I found myself "seriously considering" followed by excited and signing paperwork on what I thought was a great deal. All of a sudden, the catch showed up and i was pissed off and walking out the door. Terms of the loan were almost double what they had told us while inside the test drive. When we dared point the finger and say "hey i don't think so buddy, you just told us...", they all got nasty and started insulting my wife which i dont have the tolerance for. We had to get up and leave before i started getting myself into trouble. The sad part is that i really liked Mark at first and thought he was different, but when he knew he wasnt going to get the sale, he joined forces with these other clowns. Bottom line is that it was a complete waste of time from my life that i will never get back and unfortunately i'll never be able to forget the experience. This really stung considering that i had been a repeat customer of McGee's for over 10 years. Just like it's mother dealership down the street, it has fallen to the pits of used car dealerships. I really don't know how they stay in business to be honest. The fact that i went to one of their direct competitors and bought a BETTER and NEWER vehicle at a LOWER price with 3 years LESS financing felt soooooo so good. In the long run, it's entirely their loss though. I just hope that people check up on them before they make the trip becasue they could be suckered in. I wouldn't buy a car here with YOUR money. More
I went in looking for a cadillac cts and seen it online for 13,000. I knew that it couldnt be that price becasue the KBB was 19,000. I ended up dealing with anthoney who told me the truth and was very nice for 13,000. I knew that it couldnt be that price becasue the KBB was 19,000. I ended up dealing with anthoney who told me the truth and was very nice. He explained the car got me a car fax and negiotated the price down signigcantly. I ended up buying the car for 15,000 dollars. It was a great deal and great service. I understand how many people on this site hate this dealership, but I had a complete opposite expirience. I reccomend McGee very much they gave me a great price and a great car. More
I just bought my car from this dealership and I was really skeptical after reading some of the reviews out there but after my experience, I would definitely recommend this dealer to a friend. I had a really skeptical after reading some of the reviews out there but after my experience, I would definitely recommend this dealer to a friend. I had a great experience and don't feel like I got conned or ripped off. I traded in my car and got a really reasonable price for it (exaclty what was said in Kelly Blue Book) and got a good deal on a Camry which is exactly what I wanted. The guys there were really friendly and didn't try to sell me on extras I didn't need/want. They were willing to spend the time with me to answer my questions and explain financing options. Definitely a good dealership and worth a trip over there if you are car shopping! More
I went to McGee to trade in my old car and get a new set of wheels and to be honest, I had a great experience here! My sales guy was really helpful and answered all my questions. I got a great trade in valu of wheels and to be honest, I had a great experience here! My sales guy was really helpful and answered all my questions. I got a great trade in value (way higher than I had been previously offered at another dealer) and walked away with the type of car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. Also, I didn't feel pressured to buy when I was there and really feel like I got a great value. I would definitely recommend this dealer to friends!? More
This website was brought to my attention by my fiance. She thought it was pretty funny that, after reading all theses lousy reviews, that I had purchased my car from them. After reading them all, It ac She thought it was pretty funny that, after reading all theses lousy reviews, that I had purchased my car from them. After reading them all, It actually made me re-think my own experiance there, as the experiance for me was a positive one. I found a car I wanted on their website (08 Impalla) and saw a very low price of 7900, which was several thousands lower than I could find anywhere else. I did not believe the ad until I saw in large lettering, headlining the page, "All prices reflect dealer cost" Now, perhaps it is because I have been a subscriber to "consumer reports" for the past 15 years, or maybe it was just common sense, but I KNEW that the car wasnt for sale at "dealer cost", but was a STARTING point to make an offer. For those who don't realise it, "Consumer Reports" has been telling its readers for the past several decades to NEVER but a car without seeing the invoice and making a fair offer, and as anyone who didn't just fall off the bannana truck yesterday afternoon should know.....the dealer has to make a PROFIT. So, I go to the dealership on a Saturday afternoon. They were very busy, people everywhere and a giant yard filled with cars. It took a while to get waited on, but as I said, they were very busy. Anyway, make a long story short, I make an offer, we went back and forth a few times and we made a deal. The final price of 9900 was still lower by at least 1500 than I expected they would accept because at the time that car was being advertised at other places were close to or in the 12000 range. Yes, I was brought into the sales office and a guy tried to sell me an extended warranty. I said "no" He kept trying but I didn't but it. Ok, he tried to sell me a warranty, thats his job, he is on commision, but judging these previous reviews, it would seem that some people dont understand this. Bottom line is this......I got a great deal on a low milage car. It was possible because this dealer reveals HIS COST for you to make an offer ABOVE his cost.(profit)No one in the dealership was rude to me as some people have claimed, there was no yelling, the car was cleaned and detailed for me, the tank was filled, my paperwork contained a CarFax (I didnt even ask for it)All of the regestration and title work and all that was done for me. I suspect that at least some of these bad reviews having to do with "phoney prices" and salesman "yelling at me" are very suspicious and based on my experiance with this dealer and the fact that most of them seemed to be so similar, i think were written by someone with an agenda.
