The Service Department from Hades This has got to be the worst service department on planet earth. Their attitude is not one of providing service, it's more like your an inconvenience. It was so bad that I will never buy another Chrysler product again. Dan in the service department, as well as the manager had extremely bad attitudes. It surprises me that this place is even in business. Sales people are always pretty friendly, so I always go by the service department. They represent Chrysler in my book. More

Way too Greedy! In truth my experience with this dealership wasn't the worst I've had, but it was very negative in general and there wasn't any reason for it. I was trying to buy an older car that I liked better than my 3 year old car and hopefully reduce my monthly payments. My car is in average condition with low miles and books for way more than I owe. The test drive went okay and I did like the car so I had them work up a deal-that's where it went south! The offer they presented was really one sided and of course they low balled me like crazy on my car( lower than rough trade!) which I kind of expected for a first offer, can't blame a dealership for trying, they are in it to make money after all. Unfortunately that was also the only offer! I explained that they weren't even close to a deal I would take and they said take it or leave it! Needless to say I left it. They wanted me to roll money on my car AND pay doc fees as well as full clean retail on the old car! First of all the car they were selling isn't clean- it has a hole in the bumper where a vent used to be! Second, I've never paid full retail on ANY car in my life! Most people wouldn't, it's not a good deal. Anyways these guys wouldn't even consider meeting me halfway even after I offered a down payment and that's why I feel they are way too greedy to do business with and I would avoid them at all cost! I just arrived in Barre on a Friday night when I noticed a burning smell coming from my Jeep. Long story short, I called the next morning, which was a Saturday, and the Service Advisor, John, told me to come right in. They replaced a bearing and an axle seal and finished the job by noon... on a Saturday, with no appointment! I was really happy with the service, and even happier that we all made it home safely. Thank you! More

They also offer free lifetime Vermont inspections, if you buy a new car from them. And they have a discount program for oil changes. More

I spoke with Jessica at Midstate Hyundai and she told me about a Dodge Dakota that would fit my needs and wants. I went to the dealership, test drove the Dakota and brought it home that day. The service I was provided was awesome. The whole truck buying experience was great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I know I will be back to buy my next truck. More
