Everything went smoothly. It was very easy to work with, quick, and easy. The people at the dealership were all very friendly and helpful. It was very easy to work with, quick, and easy. The people at the dealership were all very friendly and helpful. More
It was quick and easy to get the Bronco Sport. The paperwork did not take long. When I went to pick it up. It was not ready as promised. Spent almost 2 hours out of my busy schedule. Although I was told the transmission is fine, within minutes of leaving the light was back on indicating no change from when I brought it in. At $400 for the service I feel more of an attempt to diagnose the problem should have been made. I called and relayed my disappointment and was informed that a minimum of $250 dollars more would be required to diagnose and that any fix would likely require opening the transmission which would of course cost for the fluid to be replaced. I don't feel i got the best service and because this is an older vehicle (2003 Ford Explorer) I cannot see throwing away my money playing with fixing it. I feel I have no alternative but to drive the vehicle as is until it dies and that is just a shame. I do most of my own auto repair work but honestly I have found Ford products to be difficult to work on. This may well preclude my buying any more of them in the future. More
I had tires rotated and they all had different psi. 30-39. I could be wrong but I would think that would have been something they would check when rotating tires. 30-39. I could be wrong but I would think that would have been something they would check when rotating tires. More
I purchased the Bronco new 5 months ago. This was the 2nd warranty service at 10k. Everyone was kind and i was happy leaving. The next morning i noticed rattling under the vehicle. I knew what it was so I checked it the next day as i was installing new tires on the vehicle. One of the bolts for the skid plate was not installed all the way. I found that it was crossthreaded in and left that way. Then as i made it to the last wheel, before taking it off i noticed where a socket had spun across the wheel taking all of the paint off in one spot. I was already committed 3 tires in so i finished installing the new tires. Then lastly i remembered that the tech installed wipers for me. I had a set of aftermarket wipers i was going to return because i couldn't get them to lock in properly but they insisted on trying for me which i thought was very kind. So i decided to double check those and found that the locking tabs that hold them on were snapped off and the wipers just fall off. Luckily i purchased a set of ford wipers while i was there and installed those myself. But now i cant return the broken wipers. Thats 3 different issues in one service which is completely unacceptable. So i will be scheduling a visit to see how you guys will deal with this. As a technician myself, i am disappointed in the tech that performed the work. Overall the dealership is great and the people are kind and easy to talk to so thats good. Now hopefully we can figure out a solution going forward. More
