We recently leased our truck at McFarland Ford to replace the 2001 F250. We found a F150 on the lot that had what we wanted for options. Now we should be able to get acquainted with how the truck works from the 2001 F250. We found a F150 on the lot that had what we wanted for options. Extremely expensive, almost a thousand dollars to change a pinion seal. Then they didn’t put sealant on fill plug so it was leaking.from that after repair. Wanted to charge me almost 500$ to repair linkage a pinion seal. Then they didn’t put sealant on fill plug so it was leaking.from that after repair. Wanted to charge me almost 500$ to repair linkage for my windshield wipers. Almost 1200$ to replace hub and bearing assembly. And another 1500 to replace ball joints. Took truck to another shop for second opinion. They discovered the front differential leaking from fill plug. Replaced hun and bearing for what you were going to charge just for the part! Wiper linkage for LESS than you were going to charge for the part!! And told me they checked all ball joints with a bar and said they were ALL tight and didn’t understand why your shop said they were ALL unsafe and that you could not perform an alignment!! I will NEVER return a vehicle for service at your establishment again!! And feel as though I should be reimbursed for the sloppy work done on my front differential!! I’m glad I took it to another shop and discovered the sloppy work that was done there at your shop!! More
