I recently visited McFarland Ford dealership in Rochester, New Hampshire, to have my 2013 F-150 Lariat appraised, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The sales representativ Rochester, New Hampshire, to have my 2013 F-150 Lariat appraised, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The sales representative initially claimed that the check engine light was on, but after going out to the truck together, I showed him that the light was not illuminated. He also mentioned that the truck was "stuttering," a claim that was not true, as the vehicle runs smoothly without any issues. To add to the frustration, the representative stated that the truck needed a new motor, which is completely inaccurate. The truck is in mint condition and runs perfectly fine. Despite this, I was offered only $3,000 to $4,000 for the trade-in, which is a stark contrast to the truck’s actual market value of around $20,000. This experience has raised concerns about the dealership’s integrity and professionalism. I would advise potential customers to be cautious and ensure that the evaluations they receive are accurate and transparent. More

Service writer Frank has always been a good guy, friendly, understanding and down for a good laugh. This day of service Frank had the day off. My previous truck had u-joints installed which the tec friendly, understanding and down for a good laugh. This day of service Frank had the day off. My previous truck had u-joints installed which the technician did not install the c clips in them causing the caps to fall out during a snow storm which in return caused the truck to completely destroy the drive shaft which the dealer replaced yes but this incident caused my work vehicle to be down for two days. Upon this visit a set of ball joints and a hub diaphragm was replaced. The technician DID NOT TIGHTEN THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPER BOLTS!!! hand tight not even touched down only threaded in 2-3 threads. The top caliper bolt fell out while taking a right hand corner. In result I walked up and down the road for 45 mins past dark with a flash light looking for the lost bolt that was never recovered leaving my truck with one caliper bolt which I had to lock-tite and tighten myself. This was a major accident waiting to happen, being such a large vehicle weighing well over 15,000lbs loaded it could have killed myself or an innocent motorist very easily. My truck was also in for a state inspection which the technician failed it for a tire that passes inspection according to the NH state laws of 2/32nds within a 15 inch area of each other, no cords or secondary rubber showing on the side treads and the tire also meets 4/32nds in the middle tread within a 15 inch area of each other which is a requirement for DOT vehicles. The service writer failed to look into the book and address the state requirements instead just addressed me as “it’s the techs discretion and his license” this same tire also passed inspection at this dealer less than 1,000 miles ago but failed to (A) install brake caliper bolts and (B) did not catch the fast blinker indicator on the dash for a left upper brake light bulb out and a right lower brake light bulb out. Not too thrilled guys not too thrilled. Since my visit I have not been offered any compensation for the troubles this has caused me nor have I seen any kind of possible written warning to the technician from a service manager. I hope someone higher up in the chain of commands at this dealership sees this review and does the right thing. More
