Had appointment 12/3. Dealt with Richard who was very friendly and professional. Was advised of the issue and how to repair. Richard spoke with a service tech (did not get the name) and was told that the repair that was needed would not affect the safety of the vehicle. I left with the vehicle that day and called to reschedule for repair for 12/11. On 12/9 there was 2 inches of snow on the ground (my vehicle is a 2020 Ford Explorer with BRAND NEW All season tires), my car barely could make it 15 minutes down the road. I got stuck on a hill and had to park my car and get a ride home. It was a very scary and dangerous experience. One of the error messages on the car was "Powertrain malfunction/reduced power". Upon a google search that evening, it clearly stated it is strongly advised against driving and is extremely dangerous. 12/10 I brought my vehicle in and expressed my extreme disappointment with the miscommunication and how my family's safety was put at risk. I spoke with Art who said he would look into it. I left with a loaner vehicle. 12/12 Ford kindly delivered my vehicle and picked up the loaner (very convienient and much appreciated). However, there was zero acknowledgement of my concern which is why I will not be taking any of my vehicles back to this location. More
When obtaining service at other dealerships I’m used to getting a text message with a number to communicate with the service department. I left my vehicle overnight so that parts could be ordered and then getting a text message with a number to communicate with the service department. I left my vehicle overnight so that parts could be ordered and then the required work be done the next day. I had no communication until I called in the afternoon to find out the status. The staff was very good and I’m happy with the work that was performed. Communication could definitely have been better. More

We had been searching for the right vehicle to replace my "Mothership," of a van and came across a truck that was just the right size. I contacted the dealership amd spoke with Lauren(?) Who was more than haply to advise to come on in for a test drive, meet our sales team any time!! Greeted with a great hand shake and a smile, Robbie was eager to help. After a test drive and some number crunching we were able to get me in the truck that night. ***safe travels Robbie!!! Brian in finance was eager to help get me through to SCU after 6pm!! ("Approved before adding the warranty." Was the only downfall yet kept my payment manageable before the holidays.) When my daughter heard we could take it home that night she was more excited than I was. Transferring our items from.ome vehicle to less time than anticipated due to our excitement. Her name is Myles. She came with a 6m/6k power train, a 1 year service agreement and a full tank of gas. Driving her home we did have an issue with shifting but after a trip to the service dept and a loaner for a few days, we were back on the road. Thank you McFarland Ford.
